well, the previous 7 seasons were a build up to this season....not sure how much more intracy is needed, unless you wanted to explore the reason why the wights were created, and ultimately what their motivations are?I think part of my disappointment is they left so much on the table. So many things that could have, and probably should have, been explored. I agree that even though I've still been entertained, at some point the writing got lazy. They pulled back on the incredible intricacy of the earlier seasons and made it seem more rushed.
Dragon stoppers ain’t worked yet. The wights don’t need much to slip into areas, so their activity level isn’t an indication. Dany’s huge advantage was the Dothraki calvary and the Unsullied...they both got jacked.Cersei has dragon stoppers and the walkers were strolling through Winterfell like they ran the joint.
