Heated exchange between Nick Saban and Paul Finebaum

As of 2014 Louisiana law.

(2) It shall be an affirmative defense to a prosecution for a violation of this Section that the offender had no knowledge that the firearm was the subject of any form of misappropriation.

Judge: Son did you know that the gun was stolen?

Defendant: No your honor, I did not.

Case closed.

So when you think about Paul Finebaum, Collin Cowherd, Jim Rome, Danny Kanell, Clay Travis and on and on, are they are not standing in the ultimate bully pulpit? They do nothing but bait and attack through innuendos, misinformation, and half-truths. Shock jocks that get to do their thing on national TV and radio, hit and run bullies of a kind.

It's nothing less than dog eat dog in the sports realm and you're overwhelmed at the idea that Saban actually hurt some of these sport-sharks feelings. Frankly, that qualifies as good sports TV these days and Finebaum pretty much got what he wanted.

This happens at Tennessee and you're on here cussing Butch. Be honest.

Malzahn just revealed that 4 AU players busted for weed will not miss any time. Have you seen me criticize that decision? Were you even aware of it?

Where was their stolen gun? And start a thread about it if you want to discuss it. Although now you can't really say what you like without hypocrisy. But Again, this is about Saban and his lack of character. Try to stay on topic.

So you're following the lead of your buddy bamawriter and trying to change the subject.
Finebaum maybe a tool. But he asked a legit question about a high profile player who was arrested and made national news. Regardless who the media person asking the question as the representative of the public university football team he has the responsibility to act professional. He's a damned bully and you and your toothless brethren will defend the midget no matter what he does.
There's no excuse for his behavior. Period

Well, just because Saban likes to set the thermostat at 70 doesn't mean he doesn't like green beans...

My attempt at being a bammer defending the prick. Change the subject and keep pushing it. LOL

Sure there is, he gave as good as he got. G-Mac and The Big Swagu had no problem with the exchange on either side. The fact that you're all a quiver over a standard you want no part of in your own replies, smacks of a whole lot of insincere hypocrisy.

You brought up Auburn, Skippy.

So if you didn't misunderstand my point (which I knew you didn't) then you were diverting and being intellectually dishonest (like you are in this response too). For shame bammer
Bingo.
First, a little surprised this thread is still going.
Second, the point you make in this post is the same reason I left.
"So what you really mean is" blah blah blah.
Everyone knows what everyone else means and some have placed everything they have on semantics.
What question, how many times it was asked.. don't care.
You're the highest paid coach in college football.
I don't give a damn if they ask the question 10 times, suck it up and answer repeatedly like everyone else you entitled little leprechaun.

I find his answer concerning to say the least but he should repeat as many times as necessary.
And we shouldn't be insulted with the defense of him that we have witnessed here.
"Depends on what your definition of is, is"
I know what is means and no word games makes this look any better.

Wts, he's still a really awesome coach as far as the game goes.
Now back to my corner.

LOL still changing the subject I see. Good show

Why was the LA cop incompetent? Did the prosecutor /really/ say he wasn't going to prosecute them because they were football players? I seriously doubt it.

There is a long history of major programs finding ways to get law-breaking players off with the classic 1 game suspension--the opening game suspension against the cream-puff non-conference opponent. That is the default punishment.

Again, reading comprehension fails you. I stated you would be ripping Auburn if Gus did what Saban did. This is a thread about Saban. The Bammer head coach. That little short squirt who roams the sidelines of the team you supposedly cover. Stay on topic. You are losing credibility as a "journalist" by avoiding the discussion when your argument is exposed as faulty and in turn you try and deflect the discussion.

You seem like a somewhat decent poster capable of having a valid discussion when you leave your homerism out of it. Try to have one instead of resorting to insults and name calling.

Interesting

Nicely done Impaler.

Bamawriter talks himself in circles, then gets called out for it.
He then attempts to deflect the argument, then gets exposed for it.
He then will resort to insults and name calling, and get called out for that too.

Then he disappears. Did I miss anything?
