Someone needs to explain to me why a guy who was among the 2-3 favorites all season, put up ridiculous numbers, was instrumental in resurrecting a football program, and missed only one game is now eliminated from consideration because he suffered an injury. If Hendon Hooker doesn't at the very least get an invite to NYC the whole thing is a complete joke.

Who gets to go to New York? Caleb Williams, okay, he's your winner at this point. But who beyond that? The kid from North Carolina? The TCU QB? I mean, seriously, is there anyone that would have touched Hooker had he not gotten hurt? And yet I keep reading that he 'lost his Heisman chance' with the injury. Ridiculous.

Hooker should get an invite but he cannot win now. Caleb Williams has pretty much locked it up.

Sorry I am not fitting in with your hubris.

Just keeping it real.
Explain "keeping it real". Because he lost two games? Seems like rg3 had 3 losses when he won the Heisman. Plenty of other winners where their team had losses. So why should Hooker be punished for a loss, and not then, when it's an award for individuals.

excessive pride...i looked it up before I used it to make sure it was appropriately used.
So...you think your use of it was in the proper context when I called you out for being a troll..lol? Go back to Georgia, troll.

The GA game knocked him out of any shot.
The SC game ended any chance because he could not play anymore.
Had we won the SC game and he hadn't got hurt I would say he would of had a good shot @ 2nd or 3rd place.
Stroud is out now because of the Ohio game.

That would make sense if it wasn't for what I stated in my post. Just trying to understand the logic, how come it only applies to Hooker, or Stroud, but nobody else in the history of the Heisman?

I am not voting. I have no idea.
I just know GA knocked him out based on the commentary I heard from everyone in the football media after the GA game.

That's fine, and understandable, especially if Williams lights it up next week. But there's no possible reason Hooker shouldn't be in NYC after the season he had.
Yep stated that earlier. Hooker should get an invite but he cannot win now. Caleb Williams locked it up.

Not arguing he'll win, but I still don't understand the logic. Has the Heisman changed the rules? I mean if a loss knocks you out now, then Caleb Williams has a loss. Did the change it after his loss? I totally get if he wins out him winning over Hooker, but I don't get if the Georgia game knocked Hooker out, then why don't the Utah game knock out Williams?

Caleb Williams had 400 passing yards and 5 touchdowns with 0 interceptions and 50 rushing yards in the loss to Utah.

Hooker laid an egg and didn’t throw a single touchdown in the loss to Georgia.

I think he’ll get an invite. It’s clear Williams that will win though.

No one is a stand out. So hooker should get it because Tennessee was absolute garbage since 2007.
