Prayers to the family and baby Ashley, My daughter was not expected to live long when she was born had sveral problems with health,and they told us at University of Tennessee hospital in knoxville that my daughter would have down syndrom if she lived because she was born 3 months early but her gandmother had faith enough for everyone and she will be 21 in september and has been a picture of health ,Again our family wantz to send out prayers,I didn't have the faith my wifes grandma had but she said god told her the baby would weigh 5 pounds and be healthy when th doctors said she wouldnt weigh but 2 to 3 pounds.So have faith and things will be ok.

Guys...I don't know if my wife and I will ever be able to express how much this means.

Honestly, the prayers were enough and sustained us through one of, if not the, hardest times we've ever experienced. That you all would go above and beyond like this...wow.

OB, how is sweet baby girl doing? I didn't see any more updates after the latest trip to the hospital.

She was sent home on Monday and has been doing great. She has to take BP medicine from now until her next procedure, which could be another surgery or another cath procedure...hopefully another cath, which is just an overnight stay.

To look at her, you'd never know what all she's been through because she's the happiest little girl and, thankfully (third times the charm), a big daddy's girl. She laughs and smiles all the time, especially at her oldest sister, who is her favorite, by far.

The docs say her heart is strong. Now, if we can get her aorta to do the same...

That is good to hear. It is so sweet having a little daddy's girl. Rips your heart out to see them have to go through something, but God is still in control. Feel free to use this as your outlet as you need. I will continue to pray for little Ashlee and your family. God bless.

Brings a smile to my face remembering my own kids. Continued prayers for her continued healing and strength for her parents.
