Easy for his coaching career to diarrhea that out of his mouth. One could say he ran one too many times. Heupel utilizes mobile QBs but it ain’t the single wing.

Simms has always been a clueless fool who states the obvious. My guess is he probably saw very little of HH at UT.

Couple of decent scrambles there........his O-line going to get him killed though. He has no time to throw.

I'm sure he was playing with a lot of guys who might not even make the team in the second half of the first preseason game.

He's actually in a good spot in Detroit. Solid team with a good coach, sit behind Goff for a year or two, learn a ton, then get the gig when they inevitably cut Goff loose because of the crazy money he's being paid.

And Goff isn't going to play 16 games (or is it 17 or 18 by now?), so HH will get his opportunities.

They're playing the Giants and Jalin Hyatt. I don't see that it'll be on TV anywhere. Anybody know how we can watch? ESPN+, maybe?

He definitely wasn't starting, but did get some playing time and looked pretty good.
