Here Comes the Recession

Sounds like Obola dropped the ball, why wasn’t he better prepared to help this administration? He had eight ****ing years and maybe if the dems hadn’t been on a impeachment drive for the last three years it could have been addressed more significantly.

Pathetic. I'm sorry... who's President now? Are you suggesting Trump is haunted by the Presidents of Christmas past or something? LMAO. Is Trump is incapable of actually leading our nation NOW when we need our President to lead?

Oh, wait. You're actually right.

Ahh ok then. Carry on. Blame everyone else for Donald's incompetence.

Box. Checked.

This is the one time you guys really need to realize that blaming trump for this is totally ridiculous.

I don't care who the president was right now, it could be Lincoln or Reagan or Washington, no one was stopping this from happening here. We are just to in bed with the world.

Wrong.

Being an anti- science guy, Trump fired our federal pandemic response team in 2018 as a cost-cutting measure (yet Trump passed a tax break that favored the rich, and ballooned our federal deficit to over a trillion dollars a year). Science, bad!

He has taken the axe similarly to other federal agencies supporting scientific infrastructure and research. No surprise here, as Trump (ever the conspiracy theorist), previously claimed that vaccines cause autism.

Further, unlike prior presidents, Trump has been the biggest cheerleader on the planet for our stock market. He has measured his success again, again, and again by stock market gains, which he has claimed were the direct result of his presidency.

As it became clear in February that the virus and its associated effects might affect the stock market, Trump went into total denial mode that the virus was a threat. He repeatedly ignored and minimized the threat of the virus for fear that it would affect the economy and his stock market.

As recently as this weekend, Trump has played the fiddle while Rome burns. In the face of a complete lack of leadership coming from Washington DC, governors and other state leaders have been forced to mobilize and addressed this problem pretty much on their own.

Meanwhile, what was Trump doing this past weekend? Of course, the weekend prior he was playing golf in Florida, and this past weekend, he continued to send out tweets about his political rivals, throwing stones and being the general douche that he is.

Here's a gem from Saturday that aged well:

"Mar 14, 2020 07:08:12 AM BIGGEST STOCK MARKET RISE IN HISTORY YESTERDAY!"

As a result, Trump wasted weeks of time that otherwise could have been used in preparation for the subsequent pandemic. As it stands now we'll be lucky to have in excess of a million test kits within the next month. If you've been listening to any scientists regarding this matter, you will recognize and acknowledge that these are the direct result of Trump's incompetence.

8 weeks to be exact. First known US case was the beginning of January.....so effectively, we are 8 weeks behind.

Hang in there. A vaccine for TDS can't be far off.
