Herman Cain to announce May 21th (Tomorrow) if he is running for President.

I like Cain but Cancer will be used against him. Rove said it best. Obama is about to wage the dirtiest campaign in the history of American presidential elections. He is already stealing tax payer money to make this happen. He has plans to use Acorn and similar organizations to separate himself from the dirtiest and most unethical activity. They will make people aware and fear Cain's health issues.

All politicians do.

I like what I've heard from the guy. More people like Cain need to run. Smart, successful citizens - not career politicians.

Cspan's website has the entire speech. I watched the beginning and will go back to finish later.

Favorite line so far "we need a leader, not a reader"

My prediction:

1. President Obama will be reelected, despite whomever the GOP (or anyone else, in the event of a third party candidate entering the race, or if they even draw any measurable popular interest) nominates to oppose him.

2. The race will be called before midnight EST.

He is the veritable walking embodiment of both Prozac and Viagra for hippies / liberals, he has Hollywood's entrenched backing, the media has (and will continue) to give him a pass on most things, and the coup d'état - he's black.

I used to think that Obamacare or immigration might slow him just enough, but even then, it be a long-shot a best (would take the perfect GOP candidate, who has not only yet to emerge but isn't likely to do so with each passing day). Now, having been at the wheel when OBL was killed, it's seemingly washed those two away, making it a "push" at best.

I really don't see him being seriously challenged.

I have a hard time seeing a person that's never been elected to office becoming the next POTUS. IMO, the GOP candidates are fairly weak and at this point I can't see President Obama being defeated.

I agree with TD but I hope for something else. Obama is one of the worst things that has ever happened to this country.

It might be funny now but when it comes down to it, it will be his undoing. He's going to get grilled to death over it.
He would absolutely love for the debate to be centered on his "inexperience" as an economic adviser, CEO, political activist and work with the Fed.

Yeah I don't get this "lack of experience" being a problem.

Now is the perfect time for true outsider.

Obama had zero executive experience yet he is THE executive.

Im pretty sure both sides make regular acknowledgements that Washington is broken. Obama says it weekly. I think its common knowledge. Although some may take offense to a relative novice POTUS candidate stumping on it.

Why would they take offense? Why does a guy that has participated in screwing up Washington have more credibility than an outsider? I don't think Cain has a snowball's chance in hell of getting the nomination, but the herd mentality of voters doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result is maddening.

It's just my opinion....He has no chance in hell of becoming the next POTUS.
