This would have never happened if Cain told the truth from the start. I find it ironic that Cain supporters can't comprehend this simple fact.

True or not, we should start seeing the effects of these allegations. At this point, it really doesn't matter if the allegations are complete fabrications. Cain is going to have a hard time getting away from this because he's always refuting new allegations. He started out behind the 8 ball when the Politico story broke and he hasn't done enough to get ahead of the stories.

Not quite as bad as Ben Rothliesberger, but similar. Unfortunately for Cain, he's running for POTUS and not QB of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Clinton's bimbo eruption was far more significant, I guess the difference here is he had an apologetic media that was immediately skeptical of the women. With Cain, neither the women nor the allegations are known, but the same media that gave Clinton a pass has torches and pitchforks in hand and is coming after Cain.

Clinton's also wasn't sexual harrassment, it was consentual. He cheated on his wife. Not respectable by any means, but not the same thing.

IIRC, Clinton had sexual harassment charges against him as well (Paula Jones).

I don't remember this, but I was still in middle school during the Clinton era.

On a side note, I had Godfather's for lunch today for the first time... it was disgusting.

After Clinton got elected following Gennifer Flowers, Paula Jones and Juanita Broderick, it's kind of amazing that any media outlet can report on this type of behavior with a straight face.

One question I haven't seen anybody address . . . If this truly is a pattern of behavior, isn't it kind of odd that all of the sexual harassment allegations seem to emanate from Cain's time at the NRA? Not saying that makes the claims any more or less valid, but I'm wondering if there are going to be any allegations from Pillsbury, Godfather's Pizza, the Federal Reserve, WSB etc?

I have no idea what Herman Cain did or did not do with some women 15 years (give or take) ago.

I don't even know what he is being accused of.

Even if I knew what he was being accused of, I have no evidence to evaluate one way or the other.

It seems like every relevant piece of information I need to evaluate this story is lacking.

That reduces it all to rumors and gossip.

I have no use or time for that crap. They need to either put up or shut up.

For the record, I am not a HC supporter. I think his 999 plan stinks. I just can't stand all the crap being spewed without a shred of credible evidence.
