When you are talking about de-regulation related to the environment, you are talking about executive orders that he signed. Those weren't "pushed through."Reset some environmental regulations to levels before Obama. He overreached with it it in other areas but it did stimulate growth. He did increase defense spending which again, was a stimulant to job growth. The premise of his economic policy was to heighten short term economic growth. You can't deny it worked. Right or wrong, he made himself look good with some if his economic policies. It was a completely different economic model than he inherited. Unemployment was around 4.4% when he took office. His policies took it down another point, and MORE minorities were working more than ever. His problem was his indifference to the national debt and budget deficit. His foolish loyalists claimed he was America first. It was Trump first
Still, on the economy, he was better than Biden
Economic indices were trending favorably at the time he took office. He cut taxes, with bloated budget proposals, which is not sound fiscal policy... especially when additional stimulus wasn't required.
