Heupel has to speak out

Heupel owes every fan in this program an explanation for all this unexcusable play calling!!!
I’m a fan and he don’t owe me one. Penalties and poor OL play in first half had nothing to do with play calling. Stupid personal fouls allowing Fl to extend drives had nothing to do with play calling. Motion penalties, jumping off sides on 4th down had nothing to do with play calling. Missed tackles had nothing to do with play calling,

Only thing I’d like from CJH is to go back to the offense we’ve seen over the past 2 years. If Milton ain’t the guy to do it, put one of the others in.
And if somebody’s a cancer on the team, get em off. We went through that with Banks last year and tonight’s game seemed “off” like the SCjr game last year.
There is too much talent and recruit potential to let this slide.

Or don’t risk your already injured qb by telling him to dance around for 9 seconds. Also not real difficult. In the end there’s no point in arguing about it as it didn’t affect the score. But it just goes to show that Napier is a dummy which makes it even worse that he kicked our ass tonight.
It's because our coach is dumber.

Watch any qb slide while running and let me know when the standard not to hit him is 2 to 3 seconds.
All the same, the slide has to come before the defender gets to the qb.if they wait till the defender is right there and momentum is committed & carrying them toward the qb, the qb slid too late

The explanation is that we are limited by the abilities of the players on offense. Specifically the QB and OL. We just aren't capable of executing certain aspects of our offense right now.
Agree 100%. If anyone expected Milton to have the efficiency of Hooker that’s is never going to happen. I do think Milton can be a good, not great QB for us. The biggest issue in my opinion is the o line. We’re not very good up front on offense and therefore it’s very difficult to execute plays deep down the field.

That last play with the turds quarterback was them deliberately being turds. Who's to say he wasn't scrambling to throw a garbage TD pass when our defense was SUPPOSED to give up on the play as he was SUPPOSED to just take a knee. It was obvious that QB was rubbing in a fluke win a.nd got hit for it. The refs didn't help either. Their getting their own "NIL deals" to throw games. For a ref to literally kick the ball in a crucial 4and 1 situation where you know the offense is going hurry up, that is the epitome of throwing the game. How many time did they show one of receivers getting their jersey tugged back with no PI call? I've said enough.

Do you think the game was officiated well?
No, but there are missed calls in every game. And every team only sees the calls that go against them. I'm sure the uf fans are saying if the refs hadn't screwed them, they would have won by more. I wish there weren't any missed calls in a game, but I don't think there is some conspiracy by the NCAA, SEC, officials, or Herbstreit against Vol football. (Not convinced Beldar wasn't a bama conspiracy though).

I feel the game was horribly called and that 90% of the bad calls were against TN.

Every game has bad calls, that's imposible to avoid. You just hope the impact on the game of the bad calls is close to balanced. I think that any unbiased observer would claim that the game was called in way that heavily benefited FL.

He can’t run that offense with Joe

Missed calls are one thing, but kicked balls is on a whole other level.

While I agree we absolutely played terribly...it is always this same group of refs that has missed so many calls/bad calls over the last couple of seasons.

You don't have to listen to any fanbase on this one. The color analysts were openly questioning some of the more egregious bad calls.

Exactly! Thank you! These idiots that can't see this are as blind as the refs! Yes we played like crap but the refs the last 2 games have been horrendous!
We don’t get screwed every game, but we do get screwed quite often to be honest. I can remember it happening all the way back to the Jabar Gaffney “TD catch”. Everything you are saying is on point.

When they stop at least 3 drives with egregious and made up calls it kills everything. They didn’t let us get any momentum. They stopped it every single time. You can not win if they make the calls at the right times. They know what they are doing. It’s pretty easy honestly. Cause all you hear are fans bickering and nothing can really be done about it. It matters a lot in “a game of inches”. 🤷🏻‍♂️

On the officiating tonight. I can’t think of one game in his tenure where there has been such questionable officiating calls at pivotal points in the game than there was tonight.

Take the fine and call this stuff out. Maybe it’s less money fined if he acknowledges we are idiots for giving up a first down jumping offsides on an obvious 4th down fake…. 😂😂😂
I’d much rather hear him speak out on what he intends to do with the quarterback situation. Specifically, I’d like him to speak as to why he didn’t have someone other than Milton ready to go after hooker. He saw what we all saw a couple of years ago. Newton was a fourth year player that not only was incredibly in accurate with his passes, but just never was anywhere close to being in command out on the field.

Yet heupel stuck with him, and never gave anyone else a single snap until he went down with injury.

Think about this… Heupel’s was legit bailed out by the injury to Milton, which forced him to play somebody else. And what happened? Hooker of course proved to be a really good player and never get the job back.

It is shocking to me somebody that is as intelligent and good of a quarterback, mentor as Heupel seems unable to recognize when a quarterback has “it” or when they don’t. Mini if not most of our fans expected to see exactly what we are seeing this year out of Milton

I’m not sure how you look at this loss and think QB is the first thing that needs review. Milton graded the highest of any player that played. The play calling is the only offensive thing that needs looked at and reviewed.

Defense lost us this game with about 2 BS officiating blunders.

There is a convo to be had about Milton, but if you are thinking that is the start of things after this loss, you obviously didn’t watch the game. I’m much more concerned about the secondary and play calling then I am Milton
