Heupel has to speak out

He's in no position to say much after that poor sportsmanship he displayed.

I missed the game, but saw that replay and the Last seconds Time Out. WHAT THE HELL was that; JH? Totally Classless move, albeit a protest of the officiating, still uncalled for. Heupel has some apologizing to do, the College Football World will use this against him & UT. I am now questioning his abilities. "Got Me"?

What was the unsportsmanship? Attempting to get the ball back and hope for a miracle? Did you forget UF having shot last year after scoring a TD with 14 seconds left and making a throw to the endzone?

Down by what? 13? LOL yeah quite a Miracle. With no time outs left.

Give it up, officiating wasn't how TN lost. We had a couple of bad calls but we were already down a lot by then anyways.

They don't let the coach call out refs, they'll fine him for it. There was some obvious bad calls at backbreaking times Saturday. Mostly though Tennessee was their own worst enemy the other night. That game couldn't have went any worse from that stand point. It was like watching a bad rerun that you already knew the ending too.

If you watched that game and think it wasn’t fixed, you know zilch about football.

I don't think the game was fixed. I think when we start throwing out conspiracy theories like that we undermine the legitimacy of how terrible the officiating was because we sound over the top.

You are Charmin soft if you are mad about that timeout..... There is no difference if he called it on the first down or that 3rd down where he did...... The outrage should be directed at the "targeting" that Thomas got called for on Mertz who hadn't gone down yet.....

I’d much rather hear him speak out on what he intends to do with the quarterback situation. Specifically, I’d like him to speak as to why he didn’t have someone other than Milton ready to go after hooker. He saw what we all saw a couple of years ago. Newton was a fourth year player that not only was incredibly in accurate with his passes, but just never was anywhere close to being in command out on the field.

Yet heupel stuck with him, and never gave anyone else a single snap until he went down with injury.

Think about this… Heupel’s was legit bailed out by the injury to Milton, which forced him to play somebody else. And what happened? Hooker of course proved to be a really good player and never get the job back.

It is shocking to me somebody that is as intelligent and good of a quarterback, mentor as Heupel seems unable to recognize when a quarterback has “it” or when they don’t. Mini if not most of our fans expected to see exactly what we are seeing this year out of Milton

You're not so you may as well get over it.

I know everyone is calling for Nico. Yes his upside is thru the roof, but for now I think Gaston Moore would be a better option. I have been impressed at the times he has played and in the spring games. Bring Nico along at a pace that helps for the next three years, not just for an instant lets see thing. I would think that a QB needs quite a bit of time in JH system to be efficient and Moore has that time.
