Absolutely untrue. You don’t win the number of SEC games he wins is NOT a middle of the pact recruiter. The recruiting numbers of the top7-8 SEC schools are extremely close and Tennessee/Heupel’s 2025 class is very good. In addition, we recruited well enough to beat Alabama twice in the last 3 years and Alabama and Florida this year.

Outside of Dylan Sampson, James Pearce, and Josephs name another recruit out of HS that he’s developed into an NFL caliber prospect? Every 4-5 star he’s signed so far has fallen drastically short of expectations

Exactly! baseball never won **** and vitello came in day one recruiting elite, and our baseball before he got there is like a bottom feeder would be in football. We are big 6 in football and still ain’t recruiting elite. Idk how people don’t understand this

Outside of Sampson, Pearce, and Josephs pretty much every HS player he’s brought in has been average at best. Lewis, Nico, and both Carters are still TBD and so are Matthew and Staley. However Seldon, Umarov, Davis, Bradley, J Matthews, Webb, and Leacock have all been disappointments. Tayven Jackson is at his third school. Conyer never saw the field for Tennessee. John Slaughter was a bust. Justin Williams Thomas and Khalifa Keith were complete non factors for the year they were on campus. Warren can’t beat out Larry Johnson or Danye Davis for second string reps. West, Hobbs, Herring, and Ross could end up being decent, but that’s because of RG. Telander has been decent, but that’s as far as I’d go. Even our transfer portal guys he’s brought in outside of Bru, Omar Norman Lott, Kitselman, and Jermod McCoy have been mediocre at best. Joe Milton was horrendous, Thornton was a disappointment and Brazzell has been as well. Gabe Jeudy Lally was average at best and JaKobe Thomas isn’t much better and Karic and Campbell were two of the worst offensive linemen I’ve ever seen play for Tennessee. Generally speaking we’ve missed on more than we’ve hit on.

At the moment we’re going into year 5 with a 3rd year QB we’re mostly unsure of 1 scholarship RB on the roster that isn’t a true freshman, 1 WR with more than 5 collegiate receptions and only 1 other scholarship WR that isn’t a true freshmen, 2 above average TEs and an OL that will likely consist of 5 players that will have never played a snap with eachother. Our safeties will consist of either 6th year Pruitt holdovers or transfer portal guys, none of which are likely going to play at the next level. The strength of our defense right now is our secondary and as we saw against Georgia and Ohio State those units aren’t even close to being a championship caliber group. Our roster management is so bad across board we’re banking on a guy that’s never played an offensive down of college football to be a key piece of our offense.

Sure we’ve signed some guys with 4 and 5 stars next to their names, but how many of them have actually lived up to expectations?

Also an overwhelming majority of the 2 deep this year were Pruitt or portal guys and an our entire lineup in 2022 outside of Mincey, Pearce, and Josephs were Pruitt guys. So Heupel’s recruiting had little to no impact on winning those games

Let’s see. We won 10 games this year when 80 % of the experts predicted we would win 7-9 games. That was done with a porous offensive line, the loss of our best linebacker, and an inexperienced QB , a complete new secondary which included a walk on safety wh had less than average speed at best. This team exceeded expectations and made the Football playoffs. We will be a better team next year, even the “experts” will again pick us to win 8 games. We are making room on the roster because we have to have the room for our really good 2025 Freshmen to be on the roster. I look forward to our team next year , just as I looked forward to this year‘s team.

So basically you just admitted the online sucks because Elarbee has busted on everyone he has recruited. Just like banks and the safeties and the linebackers? Why is there a walk on at safety in year 4?

Those are your words, not mine. We still won 10 games, more than were predicted. Even with injuries on the offensive line. They exceed expectations and will in 2025.

lol. Deion isn’t on Heupels level as a recruiter. Kiffin doesn’t recruit as good as Heupel. Kirby? Manning? Please tell me you are joking. Pruitt may have cheated his way into the top 5. But I highly doubt he ever would have gotten there. Freeze has been given a blank check by Auburn. Seems like you really don’t know what you are talking about.
