Hey, I Might NOT Be Dying

I haven't kept up with this entire thread. Just noticed the title change. Happy to hear you got a donor, Weezer! Best wishes on your full recovery.

Okay, I might have been a tad incoherent last time I posted, lol. I know I was in pain(still am), but I even confused myself.

If I can just get my systems back in balance, I'll be doing a lot better. Nausea and pain are my current worst symptoms, but I also need some rest. Sleeping in a hospital is hard in general, but waking up every 30 mins to use the bathroom sucks.

I'm tweaking like crazy on these pain meds. It's been kind of fun, but after several days of it, I'm left to wonder if the voices will eventually stop.

Hahaha!

Just don't tell the nurses you're hearing them.

how long do you think you will stay in the hospital, and whats the recovery time generally for a transplant

Pain meds are a helluva thing Weezer - take it easy when they start to ween you off em. They can be very, very addicting especially for first timers (but everyone knows this). They can make you feel really, really strange at times especially if you've never had a strong opiate before. Best of luck with the recovery. Hopefully your body regains a sense of normalcy soon.

I've been released from the regular hospital, and am now in Vanderbilt Stallworth Rehab Facility. They're projected go home date is currently 7/3, I think. Nothing's truly set in stone. It's all based on how I progress.
