Hey, I Might NOT Be Dying

Currently 4 months post op of an ACL reconstruction, lateral meniscus repair, and a posterolateral corner reconstruction. (2nd ACL reconstruction) Knee feels better than ever and i'm now running and jogging just not cutting fast yet. This knee surgery has been the roughest i've had so far ( 3rd on left knee at 21 years old) but honestly has been the easiest as far as recovery goes. I'll never recommend anyone to get a patellar tendon graft because it'll set you back several months and you won't be able to kneel on your knee for the rest of your life, and if your like me, the graft will stretch and will require you to have another ACL reconstruction..

Good to get an update; I had been wondering how you were doing. So, do I take you off my prayer list now? You had asked for prayers earlier about your knee.

Still praying for you, Weezer:)🙏🙏💕.

Feeling pretty darn good today, all things considered. Had therapy this morning and made it up a flight of steps, then this afternoon, I did awesome in agility type drills ,imo. Then to top it all off, I was able to lap the hospital in my walk. My physical therapist was pretty impressed by how I did today. Hopefully, more days like this will continue.

So how are you my Squirrel brother? How are all of my VN brethren?

And where's my monkey???!
Thrilled to hear this news! Hope you continue to improve and next thing you know you'll be running laps around Neyland. Very proud of you Weez!

Got out of the hospital Monday evening. Spent most of yesterday catching up on sleep. Freedom is great.

Still have a few mountains to climb, but I've made it over the biggest. Just have to keep pushing. Get my staples removed today. Talking to some other liver transplant patients, they said it feels great to have those out. Love to you all.

Did you use the services of the discharge pharmacy there? My girlfriend helped get that program up and running and is a coordinator for it.

Love seeing you posting. Waiting on the day you're back at 100%. I'll know when you get there, because you'll be threatening me in some small way😬

Make sure you're good and well before football season starts. It's been known to make more than a few people sick!!!
