I knew the record was somewhere in the 130s and I didn’t see it hit 130, at least when I was looking. I often saw it in the 127 and 128 range…..like, very often throughout the game whenever we were on defense. I don’t know how on Earth the difference could be that much. It was the loudest game I’ve personally attended. My ears were ringing on multiple occasions. At least in my section - W.
We even had some bleacher stomping and banging around me. Nobody sat. Nobody.

When did we set the record?

The official record is Georgia 2023 - maybe when Jaylen Wright ran the opening play in for a touchdown? But for my money Oklahoma 2015 was louder. I know, the screen said Georgia set the record ... if that's true then it had to come early considering how uncompetitive that game was. But OU 2015 was something I've never experienced since. Don't get me wrong, the home crowds are fire all season these days. Tennessee fans are hungry for it now and come ready to feast.

Agreed. I haven’t heard a game like that since. It was insane for 4 quarters.

Yeah. Not sure if we will beat 2015 Okie. Wasn’t it Baker Mayfield that said that the ball was literally bouncing on the turf when they approached the line on offense?

Just from my personal experiences. I don’t have numbers, so it’s probably not true.

The loudest game I experienced from beginning to end was Florida 2006. I was sitting in section X, under the upper deck, so the sound probably bounced around a lot under there, making it seem louder than it was, but from start to finish the stadium was rockin’.

The loudest single moment I experienced, I can narrow it down to 2 incidents.

#1 - Notre Dame 1999, the first game I ever attended. In the 2nd half, there were 3 or 4 very bad calls by the refs, so lots of tension building. Right after those bad calls, there was a 3rd down, and not only was everyone yelling, but also stomping their feet. I thought the stadium was going to collapse. It was next level.

#2 - When Wilhoit made the kick vs UF in 2004. Nuff said.

Same. At least clap your hands! And it wasn't all boomers. Some young people just standing and watching
Truth, but you tell this to people on here that are not at the game, they don't believe it. Me and you know what we see
