You cannot believe that this was some kind of counter intelligence operation?
No, I'm leaning that direction.
I find it really hard to believe Clinton, those at the State Department, our intelligence community, FBI, etc. to let this happen. My suspicions are only strengthened by the total lack of reaction by the FBI, intelligence community, and military.
The whole thing doesn't smell right.
You give them a lot of credit, more than I could. I don't believe for a second that this wouldn't have been disclosed as soon as the issue hit the news. She would have been championed as a hero or something.
I believe that there has been no reaction from the various agencies due to instructions.
That is the other option. At which point it is now a counterintelligence operation to try and save face. If they act like they are uninterested, maybe other intelligence agencies will question the legitimacy of her emails.
One would have to believe in the overwhelming incompetency of a lot of parts. I think that is unlikely. As for the news, they would not disclose a counterintelligence mission.
I believe that the Clinton's and this administration would do about anything for politics.
Not necessarily.
She would sound pretty nutty to say it is a counterintelligence mission. She wouldn't be able to prove it and it would keep a rather unfavorable news story prima facie in the news instead of letting it die (which it is pretty much dead). Another possibility is that they could have been promised something in return.
I don't pretend to know all the details. I am just not buying the official story here. Some critically important detail is missing. Hell, it could be as simple as the NSA putting encryption secretly on the server for official emails. The official story just doesn't add up.
Does anyone else see the irony in Hillary's announcement coming by way of email to her supporters??😂😂
She was asked about private use of email back in 2012 and neither she nor State responded directly to the question.
