Hillary's running in 08

I tend to agree. Obama talks a great game, but he will soon be under constant attack from the Clinton machine.

Why, because you read his "fantastic" book? She will crush him.

Why do you have to be like that?

Because I know more about him than most here, and I think he will do well.

I might be wrong, but if I am, guess what, it won't be that big of a deal.

There's no reason to be a smartass because you don't agree with me.

Oh, I agree. No way that someone as polarizing as her wins and if the Dems are dumb enough to nominate her, it will be another 4 years of a republican president.

I actually think that a virtual "unknown" will come out of the Obama-Clinton primary season with a big win, setting that person up as a big player. Someone that can beat them would draw some major support. I think Obama would make someone a hell of a running-mate if he indeed doesn't win the nomination.

i take it your a democrat?

Nope, actually a registered independant that leans conservative on some issues, but support liberal issues such as gay marriage.

I take the time to study and learn about all the candidates before making an informed decision and making my vote go for someone worthy of it.

I disagree with Obama on some issues, but his resume is very impressive. Forget the people whining about lack of political expierence. That's a plus in my mind. Obama has the morals to beat someone like Hillary and he has worldly expierence that few if any running can claim.

I see. I'm actually a republican, but not a big fan of Bush. It's easy to look at the republicans in a negative way the way things have been going the last few years. IMO, Bush has stained the party's image.

People that vote the party only do a disservice in my opinion. There needs to be a more open process involving people that aren't handcuffed by as many special interests and party loyalties. That being said, I'm not someone that votes for the Ralpg Naders of the world just because he isn't a republican or a democrat.

Hillary is backed by an immense, well funded campaign machine. with Americans increasingly in love with the idea of the Government providing everything for all, her socialist agenda will appeal to even the most apathetic.

I don't see Obama making it very far, he won't do anything spectacularly stupid like Howard Dean in New Hampshire, but he also won't make it to the Convention as a Presidential contender. I can see a Hillary-Obama ticket that will be very hard to beat in 2008. If that's what happens, I hope Australia needs truck drivers.

Not a chance that Obama and Hillary end up on the same ticket.

Just as big as the Hillary machine is, the Conservative machine is a force. Mitt Romney's chances at president just got better with Hillary running. He is someone the "base" will support over McCain or Rudy.

I think Kerry's still going to throw his hat in the ring, and Edwards has announced.

I don't see Hilliary or Obama getting the nomination.

Kerry's "botched joke" has finished him.

Hillary better hope Gore doesn't throw in.

A Gore/Obama ticket would finish her as well. She'd be left with Edwards as a running mate and he's already lost once.

I'm not a big Gore fan at all, so I hope that scenario doesn't play out, but I do think that Gore (if he runs) has a better shot than any of the current Dems outside of Obama and Hillary and if he aligned with Obama, Hillary would be barried. IMO

Kerry is about as relevant as a wadded up piece of paper I threw in the trash 5 minutes ago.
