We have all heard the narratives about some teams getting into the four team format getting EXPOSED. The CFP committee does not vote again do they? If so, it will be back in the hands of the pollsters. I particularly do not want an all BIG final and have been in the camp that TCU is not of the same caliber as the rest. COULD be wrong, but don't think they handle MICH, so I need GA to beat the hand selected OSU team since they insured GA did not get TCU when they dropped them from 3 TO 3 after a loss trying to set up the opportunity for an all BIG final. That was pretty transparent to me. I would welcome a TCU two game sweep to insure a non BIG champion and not having an undefeated team left standing. I would prefer that to an OSU or MICH love fest due to their jealousy over several all SEC games. Though UT's final poll position would probably be better served with GA dominating their two opponents. The noise Bama and UT could make WITH WINS would be fun to follow if GA put bigger beatdowns in those games than in our contests with them. Especially for us if SC continues their late season trend and whacks a BIG region favorite ND pretty good and LSU also whacks Purdue, another BIG player.
That is my dream, not my prediction, and I am sticking to it. I cannot think of anything better for UT. My love of the VOLS supersedes my disdain for ANY other program. I get it, others are free to play their hate cards over the VOLS best case. I don't see a scenario where GA is not the highest ranked SEC team. 5 Bama and 6 UT could jump 4 OSU for sure and MICH and TCU maybe, outcomes dependent. If GA and TCU do not prevail I see a 1,2 of OSU MICH winner and loser, 3 TCU, with GA, Bama and UT 4.5. and 6 with wins for Bama and UT.
UT and Bama get a shot at posting their wins and putting pressure on the others and get to sit back and watch. Maybe we will get some shots of team gatherings to see who our staff and team are pulling for. I will alter my wishes if out of step with them.
