IMHO, if they still called palming the ball as a turnover, Moriah Jefferson would be on the bench. She can't dribble without carrying it.

I can't remember the last time that violation was called.
In all likelihood, if they called it, she wouldn't be doing it.
Players do what they can get away with.(e.g. 3 second violation)
