Homeland

Allison has Saul whipped and Dar fooled. Hopefully Carrie will bring an end to her.

Not really. He believed she was guilty after Carrie convinced him but he just couldn't prove it. If he had any doubts before the hospital scene he definitely doesn't have doubts now.

Did anyone understand that ending? I didn't.

No, but I think she received a sign that Quinn should live. Not sure I interpreted it correctly.

They should have used this season to transition away from Carrie. A fresh start might be what is needed. As it stands, I am not excited at all for the continuation of the series.

That was the point... Leave us guessing. We were led to believe that Carrie was going to end Quinn's "worst nightmare." After the letter, the light shining,... Who knows?

So is she left choosing between a vegetable Quinn and a rich and powerful German tycoon (can't remember his name - Oslo? Oswald? - whatever)? The whole thing is just odd. Is this still a spy show?

Ummmm big part of the season was about a CIA agent working for the Russians. Season was overall still really good. Regardless what they do with Quinn.

They showed her closing the blinds only to have light come in from nowhere. Totally weird. My guess is Quinn is still alive next season. If they were going to kill him they would have done it at the gas chamber. Why have him survive all that trauma for Carrie to have to euthanize him?

Im not sure if you've been watching since the series premiere but if you saw seasons 1 and 2 you won't give up now. They've toned her crazy down a lot. The Otto guy asking her to be/work with him was totally out of left field. I felt no chemistry between those two at any point. That made no sense.

Most good shows are good for first 3-4 seasons. I've loved this show, but this is now a good jumping off point for me.

It adds to Carrie's story and character that the one person that has loved her through thick and thin was, in her mind, destroyed by her when she lost track of him, let him fall into the hands of a terrorist group, and violently attacked...all to then have him awoken on her urging to even worsen his prognosis. she already believed that she destroys everyone around her...she'll run with what happened to Quinn as further proof that she is damaged and dangerous.

I still love the show, good good season!

Anyone still watching this season?

I like the home grown terrorism story line they are hinting at for this season. Quinn is a hot mess and they don't really tell you what his condition is. Is it permanent or is there a chance at recovery? I'm not sure what Dar Adal is up to with his secret society.

I assume he suffered hypoxic brain damage, but now he obviously has added some other complicating factors...

I'm optimistic about this season.

Looks like Quinn is starting to get a little tinfoil and bitter from listening to that Alex Jones type radio show lol. I'm really digging this season so far.

I'm digging the homegrown terrorism angle as well.

Just finished tonight's episode up and the ending was powerful to say the least. I also have know idea where the story is going this season and that's a good thing. I have loved the story so far.

Im all caught up now, i liked it. Last season was pretty boring but this season seems a lot better.

Hadn't thought of it this way until now but last season was like 10 ways to kill Quinn or something. First he was shot, then he was gassed, then they about killed him again to try and get info from him.
