but women can still serve. IIRC blacks couldn't serve in front line units not too long ago either for similar reason.

What are the cited reasons blacks couldn't serve on the front lines? Morale?

Pedophiles, yes. Some people close to me have been affected by it. It's not curable. They should be locked away for life, or submit to chemical castration. it's just the way it is.

I can tell you right now if anybody ever did anything to my son they would be lucky to only get an a$$ kicking.

Wow, you are quite the medical expert huh? But you concede it is a medical issue. So you are cool with physically harming someone due to something they cannot help?

I don't think there was a restriction on serving on the front lines, but they did have to serve in segregated units. I believe that changed sometime during WWII.

I wonder what your attitude would be if a close relative had been violated by a pedophile? I can tell you that I have and would have had no problem killing that peice of crap.

I've not stated my feelings. But if you want, I find it disgusting. I find homosexuality disgusting as well. Not that far of a leap to believe either is a mental disorder. I just find it amusing how readily someone will define one as normal and the other a trait worth being killed over.

While serving in the military, I met plenty of gay guys who I wouldn't feel comfortable serving with in combat........BUT, there were plenty of straight guys I wouldn't have felt comfortable trusting my life with either. I don't think it is so much a matter of being gay v. straight. I think it is a matter of the military focusing so much on numbers to a point that they are no longer focused on weeding out the people that shouldn't be there.

Previous posts had started equating homosexual and pedophile. My point is that a homosexual is not automatically a pedophile. Do you think it would be normal for someone your age to desire to get in an 8 year olds pants, male or female?
