At least this guy has the balls to come on here and speak the truth. Upon hearing the news, I'm sure you all jumped in the air saying way to go Mike Hamilton!!! RIGHT
I am the one that has the high opinion of Tennessee, we CAN hire anyone, but with a clown like Hamilton leading the charge we are doomed. Why do so many of you attack me yet accept Hamilton's low esteem of UT.
UT HAD the 5th highest attendance in the nation.
Two 5th graders could have hired a high profile coach.
Everyone knows Hamilton is a mental midget and Cheek is proving with this hire he is a buffoon also.
I am done with Tennessee Basketball.
How about we look at what the post was responding to and the smiley face at the end (it indicates a tongue in cheek tenor). And pedigrees are for dogs.I have an idea. Why don't we see how they do before bitc-ing about their pedigree?
UGA is addicted to pedigree, and all its gotten them is two dead mascots in two seasons.
I know many people who beat cancer...doesn't mean they can beat Kentucky. Cancer isn't on the schedule this year, IIRC.

What an idiotic and classless statement. The mortality rate for non Hodgkin's lymphoma was less the 50% in the mid 90's. And I know many people who haven't survived it. Surviving cancer is definitely not a coaching prerequisite, but in my experience, the true character of a person is revealed through adversity. And by all indications Martin is a person who values first and foremost the gift of life and the opportunity to pass his life lessons on to the young men he coaches. Whether or not he wins at UT is up for debate, but the character and integrity this man possesses and will bring to my institution is not.
