Hooker is better in EVERY category except total passing yardsā€¦ā€¦because he got injured and Bennett played more games. However passing yards per game? Yea again Hooker.

You keep cherry picking but even you know Bennett didnā€™t have the season that Hooker had (as a QB) simply his team had better.

To me, you could plug in almost any decent QB into UGA's offense and them be successful. I don't, think you can take Bennett to TCU and have him do what Duggan does.

Nor should 29 tackles and 3 sacks. If missing games excluded Hooker and Corumā€¦ā€¦.Carter didnā€™t have a chance.

Honestly, why is anyone surprised by this? They screwed Majors, Shuler, and Manning. What makes Hooker special. We all should have known this was coming.

I still Hooker was the best player in college football this year.

In addition - this is after last years Heisman voting......

Stet was the O MVP in a semifinal vs Michigan.

He was the O MVP in the championship win vs Bama.

He was the O MVP in the SECCG vs LSU.

He compiled 90% of his yardage stats in the first 3 quarters and only threw for a little over 300 yards in the 4th quarter all yr.

Imagine the records we would set up we had GA defense versus ours . Hooker would have had the ball on his hands more snaps per game and we would be undefeated.

One is comparing a specific player position. The other is comparing a team. GA is definitely a better team than Tennessee . Much greater talent gap. But Hooker is the better QB

Well......since Hendon Hooker is STILL on the Heisman ballot, wouldn't it be something if everyone who could voted for HIM to win......wouldn't that be a sight to see in NYC when they call his name as a winner and he's not there........just a thought. Who can start the campaign???

There was a time when I might have supported UGA because of the politics with the selection this year - but after this - I am torn between the following:

- Hoping OSU has a field day defensively against UGA
- Hoping UGA and TCU wins and then having TCU have a field day defensively against UGA

The UGA fans have become unbearable trying to spin numbers to make Bennett look like the best QB in the SEC. He is not.

It's all about promoting the playoffs, and Bennet is in them and Hooker is not. Complete BS, but the Heisman was founded to create publicity, and that's what it still does. The use of the word "award" is almost extraneous.
