The Heisman is supposedly awarded for "Outstanding performance which best exhibits the pursuit of excellence with integrity. Winners epitomize great ability combined with diligence, perseverance, and hard work."

Yet, Caleb Williams, who wrote "***% UTAH" on his fingernails during the championship game against Utah. I guess he exhibited the Heisman "excellence and integrity."

This is ridiculous!

That's true... but part of that is playing "the game." AD White still has a ways to go before he can successfully navigate a player into the Heisman discussion. We've known about "the game" for decades (just go back and watch The Program).

To be honest, the whole list is terrible. What options did they really have? It's the only way a Stetson Bennett could make a Heisman list. Another example of how the South Carolina game cost this program. Hooker would've won this thing going away with this list. Stroud is probably the best option.

Well, it's not wrong that Bennett has been in the Top 6 out of 131 FBS quarterbacks in Total QBR 2 years in a row because I looked that up on ESPN (Hooker has been too). Bennett catches hell because he was a walk on and has a name like an investment banker but he's a good player and he plays well in big games. I think more of him than Duggan. At least he plays in a real conference.

Stetson Bennett showed up big-time when it mattered. He belongs. The ones that I am questioning are CJ Stroud (never understood the hype) and Caleb Williams.

Both racked up numbers against inferior opponents but folded in games that mattered.

It's ridiculous. It's supposed to be the best player, and the player that's most valuable to his team, that's Hooker to a T. Y'all probably would have won like 6 or 7 games without him, and he was clearly the best QB in the league if not the country. Terrible, he should be in New York.

Complete BS!!! With what Hooker did this year and what he meant to his team him not getting a invite is appalling. Without Hooker we win 7 or 8 games he made that much of a difference!! If you take the hobbit off Georgia’s team and I bet they still win 12 games and the SEC.

Not even in the top two in his conference at his position but Bennett a top 4 player in the country. Makes sense

I guess Hooker should have painted his fingernails at some point like the USC guy did in the game he got embarrassed in Friday night

Stetson Bennett is probably the most deserving out of all of them.

If you want players that should NOT have gone, look at Caleb Williams and CJ Stroud.
