Well, it's not wrong that Bennett has been in the Top 6 out of 131 FBS quarterbacks in Total QBR 2 years in a row because I looked that up on ESPN (Hooker has been too). Bennett catches hell because he was a walk on and has a name like an investment banker but he's a good player and he plays well in big games. I think more of him than Duggan. At least he plays in a real conference.

Bennett definitely a decent QB. However he plays on the best team……”he” isn’t the best QB……not even close. Stats, production, performance back that up. He’s good, he definitely doesn’t mean the “most” to his team either…….although that is very subjective.

Hooker did more with less and while playing less games.

Look Hendon had a great year, should be a finalist but Bennett beat him head to head and the socar debacle sealed his fate, ruts on Vandy doesn’t count

Even crazier...MAX DUGGAN? he has a lower QBR than Bennett against worse competition. Bryce Young should be in over either of them. Jaylin Hyatt should be in over either of those 2.

Duggan threw for more than 3 TDF once.. 5 against Tarleton..
Bennet Now his raw stats are worse.. but he did it against SEC competition and has a much higher QBR.

Pretty silly to say that Hendon should be left out because of the USCjr game when he led us to 24 points at halftime before going down to injury. Was he playing cornerback as well that I didn't know about?

Duggan lost to the best team they played this year twice and threw 4 of his 6 ints in those 2 games. Also both of them got 2+ extra games to put up stats not as good as Hendons.
