Maybe he hangs on and goes day 2, but I just can’t imagine burning an early pick on a guy who probably will be lucky to be running full speed by September.Thats absurd. What? I don't see how thats even possible. Anthony Richardson will never be a better QB than Hooker and his ass is prolly going in the first round.
RT was able to have a Pro Day...Hooker won't with the injury. That's going to hurt his draft stock. It's January. Ryan Tennehill was a joke because he was a WR and then dropped into the first round after some discussions as a QB and on pro day he is looking like a top 5 pick. Trust me.. it's only January
Hooker is older, coming off an injury and will face some questions about if it was talent or the system he was in. FWIW I hope you’re right and he’s taken early but I don’t see it.Thats absurd. What? Pretty sure Hooker will be 26 years old before he plays in the NFL. Most teams with interest would be fine with waiting to sign him on a free agent contract.Thats absurd. What? There are always exceptions, but Heupel QBs don’t draft well. They throw to wide open receivers and the NFL doesn’t have those opportunities.
It is, but most importantly it just demonstrates the immense skill and knowledge gap of college players and pro players. Most NFL teams can only run the same play once a week. Colleges run the same play five or six times a game. The NFL defenders are just too smart and the NFL scouting resources are so vast that the world changes.Isn’t that funny/sad/interesting? I thought the whole point for receivers was to get open and yet everyone makes an issue because in Heupel’s system it is easy for QBs because receivers are always open.
