When you have an advisor and someone/s covering expenses as you work out, there is no option. Any assumptions about him coming back were squashed many weeks ago for that very reason.

Larry Marshall's been advising him and covering his expenses since before he arrived in Knoxville.

Big mistake on his part. With a lockout looming, and he won't get guaranteed money in the 2nd round.....

Marshall hasn't been alone in covering expenses since Hop left. They always say, "if he doesn't sign with an agent, he may come back". These guys are courted, and all potential picks and early entry players have been "courted" since the season ended. That's why it's almost scary for a university if a player tests the waters and comes back. Eligibility would be in question with 99% of the players.

Hey let's accuse our school of violations that could further bury the program we love on a public message board.

First time in a long time we won't even contend for the East.

LM has no affiliation to UT. He's a coach who took Hopson under his wing. What goes on from there with some AAU coaches is common, and I'm pretty sure Hopson will sign with an agent that LM pushes him to. Hell, you should have seen the house in Orlando that Omare Stoudamire and others were living in when he was considering Memphis, before declaring for the draft, when he was 17.

Actually I am glad for Coach Zo to start it all over again with a different culture and style. He just needs to sign a big that can play defense and rebound and we might be OK next season.

It's no surprise as Hopson didn't even show up for a final exam earlier this week

“I’m a scorer, that’s what I do best,” Hopson said. “I’m a facilitator as well. I can make a lot of things on the basketball court happen.”
4 points in an NCAA tournament game

I dont think I've ever hated a player who played for the school I cheer for, but Scotty has always been a little soft punk. Have fun in Czechoslovakia, you won't be in the NBA
