Is that worth threatening state ballots over (as in the state of Washington)? Is this worth wasting tax dollars on to use subpoena powers to get this info out there? It doesn’t matter to me but it will matter to Trump.

Do you have any idea how dangerous this is if it is used against Democrats? Or do you even care?
The Trump/GOP position on this makes absolutely no sense and certainly reinforces the notion that Trump 1) knowingly lied when he claimed he was under audit, 2) knowingly lied when he said he would release the returns when the audit was done, and 3) that in fact there is something so damaging in there that he would rather gift this issue to the Dems than have it come out.
Don't know until we see them. He promised to release them, did he not?
Now, if he wants to say he changed his mind, that's perfectly fine.

Apparently they think that most people are stupid. They just need to make sure that the tax laws are okay when it comes to an audit. I'm sorry but I don't know anyone that is going to vote for a Democrat because of their partisan ******** stuff they're trying to pull. So, you and the usual democrat suspects will determine whether he complied with tax law? You're going to step into the shoes of the IRS and audit him at night from your couch at home?
The law specifically authorizes Congress to do just that, yes.
The law does not require the president to produce a return. The oversight law is about policy only. So, if Nadler and company get the returns, are they going to audit them for compliance? Do they have audit procedures the IRS does not have? What tax laws will Congress hold Trump to account the IRS has not? Please explain.
What about college transcripts? That’s where the truth is hidden.Yep, just like Harry and the nuclear option. Democrats opened that can and have to regret it now. Same for this tax return business. If they pull Trump's tax returns, the precedent is set for pulling a return for political reasons not policy or legal.
