House votes to decriminalize marijuana at federal level

There is such a thing as marijuana addiction and that addiction can also lead to other drugs for some people.

Marijuana, like alcohol, is likely not bad in moderation. But heavy recreational use of both are not good for anyone.

Prescribed and controlled medically necessary marijuana is a totally different subject.

Marijuana is not physically addictive.

An addiction is a change is brain chemistry that can not be reversed. Alcohol is such an addiction. It stays with you like a demon for the rest of your days. The changes that occur with cannabis within the brain are about as benign as it gets and can be reversed. If you take too much aspirine you die, if you take too much weed you make a bad decision and eventually pass out. It's usually harmless, but is very much HABITUATING with prolong exposure. It takes about 7-10 days to reverse this. You can be very, very irritable, but that usually passes after about 3 days. It can be overcome. People do it all the time.

Addiction | Health Effects | Marijuana | CDC

Talk to actual experts outside of your druggie friends and felon clients

So you trust the CDC here, but not on Covid. Interesting.

However, we were talking about physical addiction not "marijuana use disorder"

I don't have felon clients. Now back to work with you. Those hospital toilets won't clean themselves. So hop to it, mop jockey.

Weird I don’t think I ever mentioned anything about the CDC and Covid but as your emotionally illogical arguments usually go, project some more strawmen.

So again you are stating that your belief is that doctors are making up physical addiction attributes to marijuana correct? Or are they simply mistaken about the science and research?

Is Marijuana Addictive?: How Addictive is Weed?

Still crickets on my statement of PHYSICAL dependence. For being an expert in the medical field, you don't seem to know squat.

A large majority of people who are allowed to smoke weed don't smoke weed. It's not like you are out here sucking for weed at the park. A majority of folks don't like it after a few tries. No harm. You probs didn't like beer the first time you tried it either.

I've seen first hand how some of these people act when they don't have their pot.

Physical dependence. Withdrawal symptoms.

Detoxing from alcohol is the most dangerous drug withdrawal in the world and yet it is legal. Here is a small list of the withdrawal symptoms from alcohol.

  • Shakes and tremors
  • Anxiety
  • Panic attacks
  • High Blood Pressure
  • Seizures
  • Delirium Tremens (Psychosis)
  • Heart Attack
  • Stroke
  • Coma
  • Death
It can be a deadly process trying to get free from alcohol addiction.

Not a message board. He has actually written a book on the topic. Now can you disprove Berenson's claims?
Your own link does that.

No psychosis, no hallucinations, no violence.

The marijuana withdrawal syndrome resembles those associated with other drugs, particularly tobacco. Patients experience irritability, anger, depression, difficulty sleeping, craving, and decreased appetite.

This might be one of the few things, or last things I ever say to America. Weed was the American crop that came with sugar cane. All the American fathers grew it on plantations. It's as American as it gets.

No different than coffee drinkers or a warehouse guy when the machine is out of Dew
That is a poor comparison. Try a little harder next time. I have provided some links as well. I know some of the "libertarians" would love for all drugs to be legalized. Just one of the few reasons I refuse to identify as a libertarian.

Your links are always terrible. People who have breaks can have it triggered with mj use. It's not the true cause and it's a very small number. Unless you're calling for the return of prohibition you're still in favor of legal drugs

You don't id as a libertarian because your beliefs don't match up. Your posts have shown you're not a huge fan of freedom and liberty
