How can Iowa possibly prepare for Tennessee

With an inexperienced freshman QB the history shows that you bring the house, blitzing until he proves that he can beat you.

The DB situation and an inexperienced QB has me a little apprehensive. I think we prevail, but a stout Iowa defense and inexperienced QB has me a little less confident that most about this game. GBO!
Pretty much describes my thoughts as well. This will likely be a low scoring game. If we can get Sampson or Squirrel the ball in space once or twice it may be enough to win. I’m thinking this will be a 17-10 type game; of course everything can change if Nico gifts them some TOs bc he’s being hit.

Not sure how much smaller the playbook can get, before now you had runs between the tackles and bubble screens on 80% of plays.
Imo the offense will open up more as the game progresses. I think we will start the game as usual, but then throw more in th middle of the field, which we have done much so far this yr, and much more downfield passing..

I dont see Iowa having any problem with their prep. We run the same offense either way. Bubble screen, read option run, play action throw downfield. Rinse. Repeat. Not a criticism but that’s what we did all year.

I read an article that said the offense was based on the abilities of the current players. That explains the change from 2022.
We will see if it opens up with Nico. Or if they keep it simple this game.

Everybody is talking about Iowa’s elite defense but yet to acknowledge their schedule has been dog sh*t compared to ours.

They don’t have the speed nor the elite athletes of Bama/Georgia to slow us down.

Iowa appears to be way over-rated. I could see the Vols winning by 3TD.
Nailed it! Put my money where my mouth was and will pocket $200.

First time I've bet on the Vols in over 50 years and I'm finally in the black! Think I'll quit while I'm ahead.
