What is the over/under on how many words Chief Justice Roberts will be able to say before a pause so Biden will be able to repeat the oath after him?

1) Only one word.
2) 2 words
3) 3 words
4) Just kidding. No reason to go past 3.
Jeff Dunham will replace Justice Roberts.

Reports of social media and other communications that Trump loyalists may attack the inauguration. Is it real or blowing off steam, cause for alarm or just rhetoric?
thought the liberal sites like FB and Twitter and Instagram shut down that stuff ?

Like inaugurating a president that wasn't legally elected?
As much as the left will want to point to Trump‘s term and qualify it, Biden’s six months in office will forever have an asterisk by it and result in pages of whataboutism back to Trump 😂

Its a little alarming that people are do dismissive of what happened last week. As though it was just a gag that got a little out of hand.

I find it hard to believe that someone that works in the law field, could care less about an unarmed protester being gunned down. You're either an amoral person or you're a p#ssy. Maybe you're both.

No. What happened the other day was extremely serious. Not funny in any way. All Americans should be worried about someone doing something stupid on the 20th.
I'm worried that protesters with a different view point than America's first appointed dictator, will be killed.

You will be seeing a lot more because the radicals will keep pushing their bs.

There will be less violence than if Trump was being inaugurated for a second term

Absolutely shocked that's not an option. Flabbergasted

Last week wasn't a gag by any means. It was seriously screwed up and I'm highly ashamed it got that out of hand. An iconic American place like that shouldn't be violated and disrespected like that. That said, other than the symbolic nature of the site it was tame compared to what happened last spring/ summer. The actual vandalism was minor, there wasn't any roving gangs assaulting random people, nothing was burned (no cop cars, no dumpsters, no buildings), things generally died down after a appropriate police presence was established, and crowds generally dispersed after curfew. If any of that had happened, if things had escalated, or if this had gone on multiple days like the previous incidents I'd be more worried. I think there will be some protests, and there will be some people with the intent to disrupt things, but barring any major instigators on either side things shouldn't be any worse than any other political disruptions over the last few years. As long as Trump and his cronies don't fan the flames too much, AND the left doesn't get draconian with their response. If the left tries to flex their muscle and pushes back too hard against honest legal protesters this WILL blow up in their faces because it will reinforce the rights biggest fears of the left of having their rights blocked.

A person shot. A cop died. Others died. Lots of destruction. The inner locations of government officialdom breached and occupied. Secret Service has to intervene, guns drawn, to protect the VP for doing his duty. Pipe bombs and molotov cocktails in place and more nearby.

Ummmmm, no. This was not minor compared to George Floyd related riots. This was far, far, FAR worse and much more serious.

A person shot.

Executed, make sure you have the terminology correct.

A cop died.

Yeah, I'd like the autopsy on that.

Others died.

Which was sad.

Lots of destruction.

Not really.

The inner locations of government officialdom breached and occupied.

Oh, my! Wait, this never happened before?

Secret Service has to intervene, guns drawn, to protect the VP for doing his duty.

They drew their guns?!?!?!?! Oh, no's!

Pipe bombs and molotov cocktails in place and more nearby.

And I'd really like to know for a fact those came from the Trump rally. Because Antifa was in Washington and, as posted yesterday, has used such devices in the past.

This was not minor compared to George Floyd related riots.

Yeah, it was. Because it damn sure could have spread much, much further like the Floyd protests and riots did. In fact, it was a pretty controlled outlet and, as I've said all along, could have been much worse than your pearl clutching selective outrage.

This was far, far, FAR worse and much more serious.

And why is that? Because the right got pushed and shoved and demonized and ridiculed for the past four years and they finally had enough? You know, I kept warning a lot of people here throughout the Trump Presidency you can only push so far before people will start striking back. Well, this was a minor taste. And let me go ahead and tell you, it could have been a lot worse.

Make no mistake, the pot is reaching a boil and this so called "unity" nonsense is not happening. The left has seen fit to now go all out on the attack against the right. I would say by summer, you're about to see a radically different country. And as much as you like to troll on here, I think even you are going to be appalled at some of the things that will happen if you aren't already and just hiding it.

I'm reminded of what Solzhenitsyn said in "The Gulag Archipelago" and can apply it to today.

"By now we are even unsure whether we have the right to talk about the events of our own lives."
