At least his speech had substance and he talked about the issues rather than spend all of his time bashing the rep.

His speech was fluff. He yammered on and on about what he's going to do...hoping that American voters will be too stupid to question how he's going to do it.

What issues? Did he outline how he was going to address those issues? What is his plan? How does he plan to pay for it? I listened to the speech and got zero answers, just more questions.

Palin is the VP here, she explained what she stands for, controlling government, cutting spending, cutting the fat off of the meat..... These are all things she has done in her communities, cities and state! Of everything that Obama has proposed how much of that did he bring to the communities, cities and state he represented?

If you want real change you've found it in Palin......Obama is bringing nothing new to the table, just the same old Washington rhetoric we hear from both sides of the isle.

I have to assume that neither do you.

you're so typical of most, if not all, of the idiots who've bought, hook line and sinker, into Obama's neo-socialist message.

one question I'd like answered, but I know will never be answered, is how many private sector jobs will be created by Obama's tax increases on business?

Milton Freakin' Friedman couldn't answer that question.

no offense to onevolfan, but you are getting eaten alive in here. unless you can provide concrete evidence and/or facts to questions, you will continue to get beaten up. not saying you don't, just saying you haven't answered the questions.

p.s. onevolfan, i'm going hunting for red pandas haha

Just a few questions from someone on the outside of all of this (I don't try to understand politics). How does someone's speech automatically instill your faith in them to actually run the country? Isn't it all just lip service to their party, telling the people what they want to hear? Don't the people listening realize this? I heard a lot about how her speech last night convinced people that she was the right choice for VP. Why? Because she can speak in public, or because she agrees so much with their choice for President?

Agreed, completely. Now change the tone to incredulity and change the name to Obama and you'll understand where I am.

And that is why BHO is the D. candidate... he can give good speeches, no other reason.
