How dare we question Palin!!!!

You guys are missing the bigger issue which is that the defense of Palin has not been to explain these various questions about her -- the investigation, the passport issue, the lack of vetting -- but that instead the Hannitys and Foxes of the world have simply invoked the "liberal media" mantra.

I mean, how many people on the right complained when the Edwards affair issue was initially ignored because it was the Enquirer reporting it? The complaint was that it should be looked at because of the merit of the issue.

Similarly, even if it were true that folks like MSNBC actually went out and looked for this, and even if it were true that they haven't been as inquisitive about Obama, that does not change the fact that asking what this lady can do to run the country is a legitimate question.

the issue is that there was no mention of edwards in any newspaper besides the inquirer. the mainstream ignored it completely.

however, in one weekend the mainstream did it's best to write article after article bashing a 17 year old kid and bashed a mom who was running for vp.

these are the same liberals who are supposed to be encouraging women to do both.

their hypocrisy is so obvious it's laughable. gatorvol, please, try watching foxnews before you go off on these stereotypes.

you're starting to sound like the people you defend :p JK

If you are a conservative you will love Sarah Palin... if you are not, you will not like her much! It's just that simple. She called herself a "bulldog with lipstick" I think she can handle the media attacks... if she wants to be VP, she will have to develop "Thick skin!"

1.) In short, that equals politics which is sad.

2.) She doesn't already have thick skin?

no offense to onevolfan, but you are getting eaten alive in here. unless you can provide concrete evidence and/or facts to questions, you will continue to get beaten up. not saying you don't, just saying you haven't answered the questions.

p.s. onevolfan, i'm going hunting for red pandas haha

You republicans and your guns! :)

I thought you all would enjoy hearing it, seeing as you haven't heard it before. :birgits_giggle:

I heard it, I just didn't take away from it the understanding of his plan and how we get there as you did.

Ten Things I Learned from last night’s Republican Convention

1. A real tan is better than a fake tan. (I had no idea Mitt Romney was orange!)

2. Sarah Palin attacks with one hand and hides behind her kids with the other.

3. A woman can lie just as well as a man. (Still with the “Bridge to Nowhere” lie?)

4. Republicans don’t have any new ideas to solve America’s problems.

5. Cowgirl diplomacy won’t be any better than cowboy diplomacy.

6. A baby with Down Syndrome makes a much better prop than greek columns.

7. Republicans enjoy abuse of power wherever they can find it – it’s a sign of strength.

8. Republicans are opposed to organized communities.

9. John McCain was a POW.

10. Cindy McCain just LOVES “red meat”, and she looks strange in day glo green.

#2 At what point did Palin make her kids an issue? Oh, that's right it was the left that brough them into the fray and now she is defending them! How dare her, I bet if someone went after your kids you would fight back.
#6 And a mother should not be proud of her child if they have some kind of handicap? Should they have left her at home and not bring her along, after all she has down syndrome, they should lock her away and not be seen with her. I know you are better than this, I am really disappointed, I wouldn't have thought you could be that vile!
#3 Show us the lie in "the bridge to nowhere", she realized what it was and it's implications and told them no thanks.... Let me get this straight, a politician says no to pork and it's a negative?
#7 And democrats are above anything like this! Keep kidding yourself.
#8 What is a community organizer, and how many do you know? I find it strange that since this question has been raised Obama has not answered it and silenced the critics, he has offered no details of what he was doing in that time.
