Interesting comments on Tennessee…and winning the next 2 somehow, I think would put us at least in the discussion.

I spoke to the guy that does the matrix. And I asked him about weighting it in a way that would reward people with a good track record. He told me that idea had been tossed around, but when he went back and looked at all the years he had been doing it, that past performance is not an indication of future results.

When they get down to the last 6 or so everyone is guessing. At that point it's not really about the numbers, it's about what the committee members think about the numbers. In some years you get em all and some years you don't. I bet the week of selection Sunday 10 or so guys on here working together could get close to having the field correct. (not including seeding).
