Uummm, kinda thinking this article is crap. He was gonna leave his alma mater, move his family, go to the most difficult conference in the country cause he was scared to play 2 games, in different years, against Miss St and Free Shoes U? Seriously doubt he was ever really considering coming here. Wound up getting a raise out of the deal- I don't think this was the right guy, I don't care how old he is. I'll keep Butch, thanks.

I think we should be proud and supportive of the coach we have...and not reflect on the ones that "would've or could've" been here. I think Coach Jones will surprise a lot of people who are still "on the fence". Go Vols!!!

He needs to just come out and say he used UT to get a raise. Everyone knows it and nobody is mad.

You were right and another or 2 did the same damn thing used the BIG ORANGE to get a pay raise dont blame them but it still pisses me of.:banghead2:

Gotta believe he looked at the past 6 National Champions and saw that his only chance to win one was to get a job in the SEC. ;);). Then he talked to Boone and the rest is history $$$$$$.

Yes indeed. No doubt about it. Don't believe for one second he thought UT "was where he was gonna be". No way. Played the game, got paid, no hard feelings.
