How many here support abortion, but oppose the death penalty?

You first.
I oppose abortion except in cases of rape, incest, or the mother's life is in danger. I support the death penalty.

I'll explain. I have a problem with killing innocent children. I have no problem with murderers being put to death.

I think child molesters and serial/repeat rapists should be put to death as well.

Your turn.

We share the position on death penalty.

I personally believe the same regarding abortion but also believe it's not my place to tell a woman what to do with her body.

It's not telling a woman what she can do with her body. It's telling her what she can't do to someone else's body.

Simple but right on. It surprises me how some people can cry for a damn murderer and have no feeling about a young child.

I support aborting black babies. I support federal funding for it. I would even go so far as supporting a federal mandate that all black babies be aborted.

Appalled? Outraged? Disgusted? This was Margaret Sanger's outlook on abortion and birth control. She is the "heroine" of the Pro-Choice movement.

If she wants to drink and smoke while she is pregnant, do you have the right to speak to her then?

I share the same outlook as Ho does. I cannot tell a woman what she can and cannot do. Just like gay marriage. It's not my business.

I can agree with all of that. However, you may find it strange to know I actually don't mind stem cell research.

Here's a different perspective on abortion. People make a huge fuss over the woman's right to choose. What about the father of the child? Perhaps he wants the child. Do his wishes not matter at all? And honestly, pro choice=pro abortion. I think the woman has the right to make a choice with her own body and that if she chooses to take her clothes off and have sex, then she should deal with whatever consequences there are. The father should be held accountable as well. Now if her choice to have sex is taken away, then she should have an option available. Also, if a man rapes a woman and she gets pregnant and she is opposed to abortion, the man should be held accountable even while in prison. He should pay child support, medical bills, etc. No money? Aww, too bad, you have to stay in jail until you earn enough working in the prison laundry to pay for it. Adoption is a good option either way you look at it.
As for the death penalty. I am all for it and think it should come with a 12 month time period in which to conduct the appeals. If no credible evidence is presented to warrant a new trial, sucks for you. If you sentence someone to death, carry it out in a reasonable time frame.

i'm against abortion, but all for capital punishment. if you ask me i think we should bring back public hanging. i think that might make some people think before they rape, or molest, or kill someone

Yes. I'm not arguing about the death penalty, though.

In my position for abortion, I don't believe that life starts until after birth.

That's the whole point of the thread. You are the first one to cleary state aboition is not murder, but the death penalty is murder.

As the title and original post asks. Your reasoning for this position?
