How will the media handle Bidens sexual assualt allegation? NYT tweet lets us know...just amazing

I believe bn was the one saying her story isn’t like Fords because she’s not under oath .. well sounds like it’s time .

How do you put someone under oath for an alleged crime that’s statue of limitations has expired and the alleged offender is no longer in the U.S. Senate so he’s not under the authority of the Senate ethics committee???

Wait you believe this democrat woman that worked for a politician is using a fictional story her father wrote to claim that this old white privileged Democratic man , sexual assaulted her ? So instead of giving her the benefit of the doubt and asking Biden about it , so he will have to face the hard questions like every politician would have to do , this is what you are going to run with ?
No I’m pointing out how her story has changed and she settled on this story, which just so happens to be from a fictional romance novel her father wrote.

Yet here you are unable to find inconsistencies with Dr. Christine Blase Ford's epic tale.

So you are for Biden answering questions like anyone else would have to do and not be protected like the liberal media is doing for him now ?

Yea because there’s definitely no way it could’ve happened bc a novel had a sexual encounter in it 😂. Amazing how the media couldn’t ask Biden about it but “somehow” tracked down and searched her family history and those novels to pour over anything to be used as “ammo”

I believe he should face down the allegations give a yes or no answer to the assault and make Reade get her story together or go away.

The irony.

Its funny.

At the beginning the complaint was that the media would not cover the claim at all. Yet, I see it reported on all the time on CNN and MSNBC. I've seen people who support the accuser interviewed on those channels, as well, interviewed objectively.

Then, the complaint changes to be that they are covering too much by including Biden's response?

If you are going to chastise the media based on a claim they are not handling it evenly, you need to admit it when they do. Which has been a lot lately.

They are not handling “ evenly “ and it’s ridiculous to pay them on their heads until they do . We don’t give participation trophy on this side of the table . How about they do their damn jobs fairly for everyone , especially if they claim to be impartial.

Whenever something like this is out there, double standards and hypocrisy can always be pointed out and they are clearly visible in both directions. What were Republicans/conservatives saying about Christine Blasey-Ford in October of 2018? Republicans/conservatives were (1) asking why she waited 36 years to make such allegations? They were (2) accusing Blasey-Ford of having a politically-motivated agenda. And they were (3) pointing to the absence of corroborating evidence and suggesting that she had been paid to come forward by Democratic Party donors. None of these questions or accusations are being levied against Tara Reade by the pundits on Fox News or on Tucker Carlson's site known as The Daily Caller, or in Breitbart or The Washington Times.

Yes, there are double standards all over the place and ultimately, people will believe whatever they want to believe, and typically, that will be whatever best serves their own political interests and affiliations. There isn't an innocent side when it comes to double standards and/or hypocrisy. They are all guilty of it... so it is really silly to whine about it.
Yes and I can point it out.

Megan Rapinoe Fails to Mention Tara Reade in Joe Biden Interview

Former Vice President Joe Biden faced no questions about the recent sexual assault allegation leveled against him while taking part in a discussion on Thursday with Megan Rapinoe, the star player of the National Women’s Soccer League and a prominent female empowerment advocate.

The conversation, which touched on a multitude of topics including the Biden family’s support for pay equity, took place as the former vice president is being pressured to address the accusations brought forth last month by Tara Reade, his onetime Senate staffer. Reade, who initially came forward in the last year to accuse Biden of unwanted touching and sexual harassment, now claims that he pushed her up against a wall, forcibly kissed her, and digitally penetrated her in 1993.

In recent days, the accusation has catapulted to the media’s attention, after video surfaced of Reade’s mother calling into CNN to discuss her daughter’s “problems” with working for a “prominent senator.” Even though Reade’s mother did not discuss the exact “problems” and opted not to name either her daughter or Biden during the call, a number of media outlets took the opportunity presented by the video to call on the former vice president to address the allegation directly.

“Tara Reade deserves to be heard, and voters deserve to hear her,” The Washington Post’s editorial board wrote on Wednesday. “They deserve to hear from Joe Biden, too.”

Despite such calls, the former vice president has refused to speak out, even as his campaign has begun arming surrogates with talking points about the allegations. Ahead of Thursday’s interview, many hoped that Rapinoe, a strong champion of #MeToo movement and LGBTQ equality, would be able to coax a response.

That feeling was summed up by viewers at the start of interview, many of whom took to the comments section of Biden’s Instagram feed to make it known they wanted him to discus Reade. Rapinoe, however, did not take the bait and neither Reade nor her accusation were brought up.

The decision was surprising given the stance Rapino has taken in the past against elected officials she believed not to be supportive of women. Most notably last year, the soccer player called out Vice President Mike Pence for refusing to meet alone with female colleagues and subordinates unless his wife was present.

“Well, women are afraid to be raped, sexually assaulted, sexually harassed, kept out of jobs, fired from jobs, moved laterally their entire career,” Rapinoe told CNBC in December 2019 when discussing Pence and other men in high positions of power. “Honestly, I call f—–g b——t on that.”

Sarah Silverman Exposes Sen. Gillibrand’s #MeToo Double Standards for Biden, Franken

Actress-comedian Sarah Silverman called out Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) on Wednesday over her apparent #MeToo double standard when it comes to former vice president Joe Biden’s sexual assault accuser and former congressional staffer Tara Reade.

“But [you] called on ⁦[Al Franken]⁩ to resign w/out the ethics investigation HE asked for??” tweeted Silverman of the senator on Wednesday.

The actress, who attached a CNN piece, entitled, Kirsten Gillibrand on Tara Reade allegation: ‘I support Vice President Biden,’ was referring to former U.S. senator Al Franken (D-MN), who fell under fire in 2017 after journalist Leeann Tweeden accused him of fondling her while asleep and shoving his tongue down her throat without her consent.

At the time of the accusations, Sen. Gillibrand was part of a cohort of female senators who demanded that Franken resign from the Senate over his inappropriate behavior. Senators Kamala Harris (D-CA), Mazie Hirono (D-HI), Patty Murray (D-WA), Claire McCaskill (D-MO), Tammy Baldwin (D-WI), and Maggie Hassan (D-NH) had joined Gillibrand in demanding that Franken resign.

Now, Gillibrand — and others on the political left — do not appear as interested in the latest sexual assault accusations, which are this time being waged against presidential candidate Joe Biden, who is expected to be the Democrat nominee to face President Donald Trump in November.

Even actress Alyssa Milano, who had put herself front and center of the 2018 witch trial against now-Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, has remained a supporter of Biden, telling Reade, “I hear and see you,” but stopping short of saying that she believes her.

Soon after that, Milano went on to promote a “women’s” town hall campaign event for Biden.

I just realized something when I read that , this whole pay equality thing , if according to Obama women are being paid .73 cents to every dollar a man makes , shouldn’t men have gotten more than the $1200 all the women got ? Seems to me a good lawyers could argue that case with all the Dem leaders as witnesses.
