jp1 simply has serious comprehension issues.

I do so help me out. Why is bruce not a decent person? Because he lied to the ncaa give me a break. Because he cheated on his wife? I wholeheartedly agree that adultery in any shape is wrong but do you not know of any person to commit this sin, repent and still be a decent person?

It has been a pattern.

Again this doesnt help anyone. What is the pattern other than the two items i addressed?

Pattern of lies, infidelities and infractions limit the repent notion you bring up. Repenting means to stop and also to turn away. There has not been any turning away with Bruce. Just empty promises, lip service and deeper lies.

What does the first quote in the OP have to do with the thread title?

Do we need a quote to know some people support Bruce and some people are waivering in support?

It's just much easier to put you on ignore. At some point you have to be able to see passed the facade.

As I stated, comprehension issues are difficult to overcome.

And again instead of personal attacks please throw something that will stick on the table. Until you contribute infomation to back up your claims in some form or fashion other than hating on someone then keep your hands in your pockets. Seriously look at your last few posts

There is plenty of information and "evidence" but you are choosing to ignore it.

it's a pattern of breaking the trust of people who put their faith in him. This is not the first time Bruce has broken the rules and as the NCAA report shows it probably won't be the last

Yep. So it's official for them that they don't know what is going to happen to Pearl. Glad we got that cleared up with an informative quote.

Hubbs has been saying openly he didn't think Pearl would get canned. Now he's realized the support may not be quite as cut and dry as he assumed.

Oh, welcome to the party Hubbs. He must have been blind to Bruce not working with a contract and having the court of public opinion crash down on him for several months now.

There has been nothing cut and dry regarding this situation from the beginning.

Hubbs buys into most of what those involved in the program say. They are not going to say much out of the way.

After the season ends, we will know which way the powers that be are leaning. If Pearl stays, it is a signal that they want to keep him throughout the process.

The fact, and it is a fact, that program supporters are nearly equally split on the issue of stay or go; is a clear indication that it is time to go. If Pearl is suspended for one year, which is highly likely based on precedents of assistant coaches and in consideration of the AA's dim view of lying; they have lost two recruiting classes. Add another year or two to restore back to the point it was and you are now in 2015. As the losses mount, many in the keep Pearl group change their minds. The other group that want him to go now will only grow stronger and louder if the losses continue at the current or higher pace.

In the best interests of UT and its basketball program over the long term it is time to go IMO. If Pearl wants to restore his dignity with UT fans and supporters he should offer his resignation after the season with a lovely parting gift from MH to ease the pain.

You are free to give your opinion as is everyone else problem is you are not helping the poster who ezpressed his opinion. You simply disagreed without supplying him with information as to why you disagree.

It's a message board. What are you expecting? A Master's level thesis paper on why Bruce isn't a good man?
