Here is what always brings me out to comment. DDUNCAN always brings great humor and perspective. Thank goodness. Inmates/Asylum = Pot/Kettle conundrum. Someone earlier wrote that this board has (I think paraphrasing) chronic schadenfreude. True. If you don’t believe, then vote with your wallet and your backside. DDUNCAN, keep on. Not going to lie. Wow....bunch of negatives here. If we offer Freeze I am pretty sure he will take it. This is a good scenario to walk into versus Auburn or Bama. For Bama, you are following a record setting offense. Anything less than perfect and you aren’t that good. For Auburn you have Malzahn who will be in your business and who is in a bad place.

For us he can come in and resurrect the offense and get the Auburn job or another SEC HC job in 2 years.

I do maintain though if it isn’t done by this eve or tomorrow it’s not Lindsey or Freeze. Makes no sense to drag it out for those two.

I think it is Pruitt thoroughly vetting the hire which is the hold up and not a Will Friend conspiracy.

I could have sworn he was the pilot that a couple times said it was signed, sealed, and waiting to be delivered. Maybe I have him confused. I have very little faith that we pull Freeze.

He didn't leave NC State, hes still there. He can stay in the ACC under an established coach who's on solid ground with the administration and AD. He can leave NC State for a HC job.
