Oh ok. Hoping for freeze. Luckily nothing has happened to make me think otherwise. Except of course the passage of time. Time makes many of you guys crazy.

Apparently there has become a huge roadblock. For some reason Hugh Freeze wants to be paid in $2 bills. We keep trying to explain direct deposit to him and that he can withdraw however he would like, but he is hellbent on the $2 bills.

Time was the one thing Tennessee didn't have on its side with Freeze, more attractive jobs were coming open this week. Tennessee knew that but decided to drag its feet, IMO the ship has sailed with Freeze. Maybe I'm wrong however these deals never end well for Tennessee.

I never saw that. He did admit that he found out that Currie was deliberately putting out false information.

I think Freeze held out for the job openings. No reason to jump on ours.

Wow. A little touchy there, my friend. I'm overall very pro-Fulmer, but the biggest area of weakness for him was hiring coordinators Cutcliffe and Chavis were internal hires (off the Majors staff) and worked out well, of course. However, once Fulmer worked through that staff he never seemed to excel at finding coordinator talent and developing it. Fulmer, in his prime, was a recruiting legend, and a very solid gameday coach. Never got the hiring thing down, it seems.

And now it looks like we may just blow this hire as well. Freeze could be a home run, Lindsey a nice, safe, single, Drinkwitz a likely foul ball, and Friend a called third strike (to continue the baseball metaphor).
