Wow. A little touchy there, my friend. I'm overall very pro-Fulmer, but the biggest area of weakness for him was hiring coordinators Cutcliffe and Chavis were internal hires (off the Majors staff) and worked out well, of course. However, once Fulmer worked through that staff he never seemed to excel at finding coordinator talent and developing it. Fulmer, in his prime, was a recruiting legend, and a very solid gameday coach. Never got the hiring thing down, it seems.
And now it looks like we may just blow this hire as well. Freeze could be a home run, Lindsey a nice, safe, single, Drinkwitz a likely foul ball, and Friend a called third strike (to continue the baseball metaphor).
