Blocking Fulmer in favor of Currie as AD and selling Schiano isn’t something that someone who “bleeds orange” does.

Folks, how many times has someone came on this board and said they had xxxx information? Now, ask yourselves how many times it's panned out. Don't give "Volman365" a hard time, it's a message board, very little fact, much fiction. You boys and girls are old enough to know better. I learned the hard way too....

I heard from the voices in my head that haslam's plane was pulling out of freezers driveway but it was headed west for some reason... Maybe freeze is headed to Vegas for one last round of escorts before the announcement?

Some thoughts from a family friend of the Freeze's.

Some background info: I'm from Senatobia, MS, where Hugh played his final year of high school football. My family is from Independence MS, which is where Hugh is from (10 minutes from Senatobia). Hugh is a family friend, as his father and my grandfather have been good friends for over 60 years while attending the same church the entire time. My uncle was Hugh's offensive co-coordinator at Briarcrest before Hugh got the job with Arkansas State. The last time I spoke with Hugh was days after his firing at Ole Miss, so it's been a couple of years.

Prior to Hugh getting the Ole Miss job, and perhaps even since, Hugh's "dream job" was always to coach at Tennessee. He loves Ole Miss, but had made it clear to people that his goal was to one day coach at UT.

Given his excellent results while coaching at Ole Miss, it'd obviously be a home-run hire for us. That said, Hugh Freeze is a snake. He is a liar, a manipulator, and an absolute con man. I have very little respect for the man (for reasons prior to him being at Ole Miss and ever since).
It would be nice to have the kind of results that he could bring to UT, but it really does give me a bad taste in my mouth. But at the end of the day, I suppose what matters is results.

Freeze is looking to get back into coaching and would do so at an SEC school with deep pockets, great facilities and a great fan base. Doesn’t have to go the OVC or MAC route, likely gets a million dollar salary while rehabbing his image for a year or two before moving to his next head coaching gig that likely pays him somewhere in the $5mm range. Absolutely a dream scenario for him given where he was the last 2 years.

And don’t give me “he said UT OC position is dream job”....that’s clearly not what he meant. He clearly means that RIGHT NOW, given his situation, the Tennessee OC position is a dream for him, which it is.

Hugh grew up a big UT and Ole Miss fan, and wore a UT jacket quite often his senior year in high school. OC isn't his dream job, to coach at UT was.

This board is the worst in the nation about the false advertisements. With all the " connections from the inside bs that I cant speak of." I learned years ago from the 5 billion Gruden lies that dont believe anything you read on here. Get ready for Will Friend as next OC folks. Lol burn the mattresses!
