Prior to Hugh getting the Ole Miss job, and perhaps even since, Hugh's "dream job" was always to coach at Tennessee. He loves Ole Miss, but had made it clear to people that his goal was to one day coach at UT.

Given his excellent results while coaching at Ole Miss, it'd obviously be a home-run hire for us. That said, Hugh Freeze is a snake. He is a liar, a manipulator, and an absolute con man. I have very little respect for the man (for reasons prior to him being at Ole Miss and ever since).
It would be nice to have the kind of results that he could bring to UT, but it really does give me a bad taste in my mouth. But at the end of the day, I suppose what matters is results.

The fact that Satan and all his slanderous cohorts must travel years back to find sin in brother Freeze's life shows the man is more than likely living a more righteous life than any of the sanctimonious windbags who were deceived into believing they had one up on him. If he repented then he is a new creation and that person you think you're condemning is dead, so you only condemn yourselves. Whatever the lie they tell as their excuse for doing the prince of darkness's work (satan = accuser), the truth that Christ came to save and not condemn is the light that exposes which entity they've surrendered their souls to evidenced by these actions and it is not the Lord.

Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.
And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;

Those who have badmouthed Coach Freeze, you have been rebuked and admonished. Go and sin no more.

Ms. Clark -- you called him out earlier in the thread, I did too....but he is not a boy or a girl he stated he was a 53+ year old man..
I would state he should have known better if he was a true Vols Fan...

Coaching searches are nuts we have had 10+years of them....

None have panned out....We are due.

This one sounds solid outside of Volnation because CPF is involved, but the media is the media and they desire to boost their Ad $$$$.

Ainge and Harrington were stupid for calling Freeze out.....Pot calling Kettle black....

Enough is Enough....Some posts this type of Stuff should be called out every time.....It's entertaining but it is old.....

Freeze is looking to get back into coaching and would do so at an SEC school with deep pockets, great facilities and a great fan base. Doesn’t have to go the OVC or MAC route, likely gets a million dollar salary while rehabbing his image for a year or two before moving to his next head coaching gig that likely pays him somewhere in the $5mm range. Absolutely a dream scenario for him given where he was the last 2 years.

And don’t give me “he said UT OC position is dream job”....that’s clearly not what he meant. He clearly means that RIGHT NOW, given his situation, the Tennessee OC position is a dream for him, which it is.

Hugh grew up a big UT and Ole Miss fan, and wore a UT jacket quite often his senior year in high school. OC isn't his dream job, to coach at UT was.

My source is telling me we're going to get Gruden. He just had to go to Oakland first and destroy the Raiders for revenge first. Pruitt becomes DC. Freeze as his OC. Can't give away my source, but I can say he stood next to Peyton while pissing in the trough in the men's room at Neyland. Soooooon

Idk, something about this seems fishy. I just can't believe that part about them pissing next to one another.
