Opting out is selfish but playing just enough to get a personal record is not?Hyatt could have played enough to get the record and then told Heupel he wants to sit the rest of the game out.

Unless Hyatt's teammates are upset with his decision, he's done the right thing. If the team is okay with it, it's settled.
If Hyatt doesn't care about the record, that's his choice. If he doesn't care about the bowl, that's his choice. No it’s different. If Hyatt wasn’t extremely close to becoming TNs all time greatest WR then I wouldn’t have said it. My opinion means nothing in the grand scheme of things. But it’s still mine regardless.

I think you can understand the decision, but also be upset that he is quitting on his team before the biggest post season game we've played in over 15 years.

It's been his work and his teammate's work that got him where he is, so the only worthwhile opinions about his decision to out out are his and his teammate's opinions.
We know his, obviously. As far as I have seen, none of his teammates are pissed off. It's settled.
No. I wish I could. I DO assume we'll see Hyatt on the sidelines for the game because he's still a member of the team and actually scored that NIL deal for his teammate's families to have hotel rooms.Question for you. Have you asked all of his teammates what they feel about it? Yes or no?
