I always thought that the righties primary civic duty was to join the riot police force so that they could shoot/tear gas/stun lefties that actually rioted.

If Obama loses (and Tucson may have derailed a Palin bid which would have secured his second term) it will be because he has alienated the constituency within his party who actually does the hard neighborhood by neighborhood graft, getting people to the voting booth.
