I’m curious I want Georgia again

I wouldn't mind it, but I'd rather play the Ohio State-Michigan winner I'm the semifinal.

Georgia will get the Peach Bowl semifinal which is basically another home game for them.

I get what you're saying; but Alabama hasn't played up to their team's talent level one time this season. They are struggling consistently against teams that are competitive at all. Georgia hadn't been tested yet; but they haven't just embarrassed themselves on multiple occasions either.
They’ve embarrassed themselves a couple of times this year, but it was against teams that had no shot at beating them. They were ugly vs Kent State and terrible vs Missouri, but neither of them were going to put Georgia away.

I absolutely want to play them again. Georgia played a good game but we absolutely did not play our best. I believe there was some shock factor in how physical they were that our guys weren't prepared for. Now that we know how they play us I think it would be a completely different game next time.
UGA played the exact same way in 2021 in your house. Same result. Trust me, you don't want no more. You've had a magical season. Leave it at that.

LOL....
Mizzou had a lead on you in the 4th quarter.
We played you like you played Mizzou.
If you think you the second game would have the same result, you're as nutty as your name implies.

A team you are down to in the 4th quarter has no shot? Interesting take.

On a neutral field, we win, and we'll prove it in January. Have fun watching the dawgs in Atlanta. You earned it.

Chirping? I want UT to win every time they step onto the field but I can see when they're simply outmatched by a far more talented team and I don't look forward to seeing it again. If Tennessee gets Georgia in the playoffs, I'll watch and maybe by then our line of scrimmage play will have improved significantly and I'll be thrilled. I hope that happens.
Rewatch the game take a step back and you will realize we made a ton of mistakes and over threw 3 TD passes that hooker makes on a normal week.

C’mon, Bama, don’t be a typical uga fan. You’ve shown better than that.

Yes. Except for the uga huggers in here, we would all like another crack at uga. You aren’t as good as you were last year, and we are much improved. If we played 5 games, what is the record? I have no idea except it would not be 5-0.

Bring em on. We will be better prepared, it will be a neutral site, and maybe this time Hooker doesn't miss three wide open WR/TEs 20-30 yards down the field.

No disrespect to your team. They earned their #1 ranking. They're good.
Is my take wrong? Look at last year's game again. 2022 looked like the same game plan. I posted in another thread weeks ago that UGA would try to stop the run, play tight man, and press the QB. If I knew that, then Heupel knew that. He's an offensive guru. It's just that as good as your WR's are, and they're good, UGA has the personnel to defend what you do well. Your high water mark came against the Tide. Bama was not confident enough to put their corners on an island, and UT hung a 50-spot on them. Hooker was a leading Heisman candidate going into last weekend for good reason. But as the pocket kept collapsing Saturday due to a harrowing pass rush, those money throws that he made against Bama disappeared vs UGA. Crowd noise? Rain? I don't know.
For some to say "now that we know what UGA is gonna do, we'll be better prepared" is asinine. That was the point of my take. Forgive me if it offended.

Go back and watch the Mizzou film. GA was down with 5 minutes left in the game.
If GA played Mizzou again, that outcome is as equally likely as GA and TN having the same outcome if they played again.
You've fallen into the simple minded trap of believing that when your team looks good it is because they are that good and not because the other team was off.

Simple question. Would Mizzou fans be justified in believing they could play GA again and lead late in the 4th?

Georgia would carve us up next time...even worse!
No chance! It's the underwhelming talent vs the Overwhelming talent! No contest for 4 quarters. Maybe 4 min tho

This is such BS. Get out of here with that noise.

Very true! Nobody beats Georgia this year! I wish Tennessee would. We just don't have enough talent.

Why do I feel like you're trying to lay a trap for me?
I'll try to have a rational debate with ya,
but dont use the "our team was off" excuse. Come on, man....

Unfortunately UT was never in that game. They'd (Georgia) been preparing for us a long time and it showed.
I was disappointed with the showing. Hope I'm wrong and we play them again and put a beat down on them. Go Vols!

A person that sees the world through orange colored glasses obviously. Georgia will be Tennessee on any neutral field because of the talent gap. You've had a good year by beating Florida, Alabama, and Pitt but the truth about those three teams that they aren't good this year. It gave me a false sense that you were invincible. Georgia so completely dominated Tennessee that it was not much of a game. Georgia didn't need to run up the score. That's not how they play ball. The game was firmly in control by halftime and all they needed to do was run the ball the second half to use up the clock and that's exactly what they did. They threw all of four passes the second half. That's not a team trying to score a lot of points. Georgia had a down game against Missouri and it was the best thing that ever happened to them. It showed them what complacency can do on any given Saturday. Tennessee wasn't complacent Saturday it's just they met up with a very good well-balanced Georgia team. No matter how you wanna look at it Tennessee does not have a good defense at all and Georgia has a very good offense along with a very good defense. Did you not see the drop passes or overthrown balls that Georgia had as well? And you know what it doesn't matter what the score could've been or how much Georgia could've scored the truth of the matter is all they needed was 27 points or let's put it this way all they needed was 14 points to win. Strange how great Tennessee is in Neyland Stadium with all the noise against Kentucky and Alabama but then see what happens whenever they have to play another team in the same type of environment. Looks like a lot of excuses. Georgia is the defending national champions for a reason and what we saw last Saturday was the culmination of multiple years of top-five recruiting even after losing 15 players to the NFL. Doesn't matter if Georgia and Tennessee meet up on a neutral field and perfect weather there is still going to be a significant talent differential and it showed Saturday.

Hooker wants them again, then I want them.

I'd love the opportunity to play GA again on a neutral field with our staff having time to adjust to what they did last time. I'm not saying I think we would win but I would at least like to see if it would capture a more accurate representation of both teams playing at their highest level.
