No way am I chalking up a W for TN against UF.

It will still be a tough game.

They will fix some things, be at home and opening up the SEC.

They always play us tough even if they suck. And sometimes they still find ways to win.

This will not be a cake walk.

While Tennessee hasn't yet played their first game I'd just like to revel in Florida's loss to Michigan.
The Michigan hubcap installers invaded East Tennessee back in the 80's when the mass migration of Auto workers retired to the lovely hills and lakes of our fair state. Through some fluke of nature, they were able to endow their grand kids back in Michigan with Tennessee spirit and a hatred of the Florida Gators which was brought to fruition yesterday.

I didn't compare the two teams. I referenced the winning streaks and how they eventually have to end. Remember UT/UK a few years back? We lost to a converted WR playing QB and they basically ran an offense with 10 plays and managed to beat us.

UK lost 26 in a row to UT before finally snapping the streak. All good things must come to an end at some point.

I do agree on the one game part. And I don't believe we should think the Gators would ever be a cake walk. But I don't see how they could take so much talent and play so badly. Something is rotten and they looked horrible.

That O line has NFL talent on it... on paper. But if the draft happened tomorrow I wonder if any would even get an UDFA.

I can do stats to.

Yes. Dooley wasn't the entire problem that season. He even made it one more season.

Many variables were responsible for that loss to UK.

I'll be thrilled if that is the stat line after the Tennessee game.

Unfortunately Jordan Scarlett will play vs Vols.

Tennessee had lost 11.

I believe those were 2 of the longer, if not the longest, losing streaks to one program in college football.

That's why you get compared to teams like Kentucky.
