I am at a NFL fandom crossroad

Ironically, many of my local friends have commented on how I am "turning toward the light" so I guess it's all relative.

Lol. I was talking to my pastor (who is a big Cowboys fan) about it and joked that I should get a Cowboys jersey with "Arnold" on the back of it as an inside joke.

OK, this is going to be a bit of a long story.

I grew up a Redskins fan almost 30 years ago because John Riggins was the man. Still is.

I had Joe Theisman as my QB, who I now absolutely hate.

I also hate the ownership. I would like to personally punch Snyder in the face.

I think Shanny is a good coach and I think they can work it out, but I think the reward I get for pulling for them is worth the pain.

I have been living in DFW, TX for 5 years now. I have been the ultimate anti-fan. Now a few things are happening.

I like Jason Garret. I think they are going to keep him as a coach.

I like Jason Witten. He is indeed the man.

My five (almost six) year old son has informed me he is a Cowboy fan. The scene was akin to an afterschool special.

He is really enjoying playing flag football this fall and I would like to have this Father-Son bond we could have by going to Cowboys games together.

I feel as if I am Hulk Hogan starting the NWO.

Feels weird.

Under NO circumstances could a Skins fan ever, and I mean EVER, have feelings about possibly pulling for the pokes. Have you noticed any changes in your life recently, any thoughts of guilt or depression....lol

Go to game
Wear Vols gear
?????
Profit

Sounds good to me! Jason Wittne is a good TE for the Cowboys. He played HS football at Elizabethton of did us Big Orange fans proud at Knoxville. I was a "Big Orange fan" (EHS) before being a UT fan.
Most players in the NFL from UT have done well.
