Just for comparison here's a pic from February last year. (and that's with the fists under the biceps pose)

What a difference a year makes

I really hope that Jalen Hurd goes Medieval on opposing defenses, ala Herschel Walker!

Everything you say is negative. Seriously check yourself you grumpy fart.

I think Boca was joking given the smiley he put into his post.

That aside, this too tall talk makes me think of Ed "Too Tall" Jones--hopefully without the attitude. Everybody was saying he was too tall for this, that, so forth. But he just performed -- when he wasn't high. Jalen may well do the same.

Just think how much bigger his arms would be if he didn't hurt that shoulder and could've lifted then too :)

sorry man. everytime i see your posts i have trouble actually reading it. that avi is very distracting...and enticing. haha. did you take that picture? and if so, what were you doing wasting time taking pictures:crazy:

Hurd IS getting bigger but the wide-angle lens used to take this photo will horizontally stretch the left & right quarters of the photo. So in this case his arm is stretched wider than normal so it's going to exaggerate the size.

Nevertheless, he's light years bigger than when he played against Malone in the first game of the season this past year. Can't wait to see how he develops over his career.

You beat me to it, but you're right.

Think I will wait and let him show me on the field just what he can do. I think Butch and staff have proven they know a little bit more about football than I do, or most of the people who just talk about it.

I don't think this is the case here. Everything else is perfectly proportionate. Even the background stuff on the left and right quarters of the pic.

None of this really matters until we see it on the field. The hyperbole of spring is at fever pitch. Same as last year and the year before. And we were still 5-7.

It all comes down to this coaching staff doing their job now. The have everything in place as far as their system is concerned and have made some strides in the talent. Now the question is, can they coach?
