I hear the violins in the distance. Here's some advice: give it a rest already. Nobody likes a whiner.

While I don't condone it,I did enjoy it somewhat.I can't believe an official didn't see that.

Before, I believe. I think it was first quarter. In fact, had forgotten about it until I saw that UF is asking SEC to review it. I do recall announcers commenting on it.
I read Corch Meyer's comments about the officiating. Wonder if Slive did as well...maybe that reprimand memo will get lost in the mail.

UGA can just go ahead and bench him for the first half of the Tenn Tech game.

Are you kidding me? Kiffin has elevated whining to an art form.

Urban's calling my recruits, officiating sucks, yada yada yada.

Whining? I dunno. More like, "Suck it. He still chose us despite your pathetic attempts to prevent it from happening."

I guess this is the reason Tebow made this comment about the Spikes incident.

“I don’t think that we did anything in that game that they didn’t do”.

Uh, I was talking about you, whiner. Or did Corch Meyer hack into your Volnation account? If so, welcome, Corch. Now gtfo.

Said obviously it should have been a penalty, have to protect the qb blah blah blah. Check out Swamp Things blog, Orlando Sentinel.

I was wondering that, myself. Don't know. Seems likely explanation, though.

Thanks.

“I don’t want to step out of line, (but) there should have been a penalty, in my opinion. Obviously it should have been,” Meyer said Wednesday. “You have to protect quarterbacks, that’s the whole purpose. It’s right in front of the referee.”
This should prove interesting. According to Slive's edict, CUM should be facing a fine and a suspension.

You forgot he commented on his players having the flu when we played UF. Oh wait, that was the other way around. It's all perspective and if the Dark Lord didn't see it happen, it didn't happen.

Right. Because a late hit and an eye gouge are comparable. You see both every week in football.

As far as hits go, that was pretty weak. Now if he pulled a shank and stabbed Tebow, then you might have a complaint.

You mean attempted eye gouge? I would say the hit is worse than fingers in the facemask.

It is obvious from the video that Williams was trying to pull up and momentum carried him into Tebow. I applaud the young man for attempting to avoid Tebow.
